He barely had any time to process anything before he hit the water, sinking approximately 10 feet before taking action. He could barely breathe just seconds before but now he had no option but to hold his breath as he began swimming back up to the surface. As he swam to the top, he could only feel a single emotion.
Fear.
Gasping for air as he reached the surface, he scanned his surroundings. He could barely see over the waves crashing over him. Far off in the distance he could hear a strange sound. He turned, facing the direction he heard the unfamiliar sound, and what he saw...was absolute chaos.
About 50 yards away he could see the middle section of a plane resting on a beach. The strange and unfamiliar sounds he had heard before have now become recognized as a roaring plane engine resting on the sand, and a bunch of people running and screaming trying to help other survivors.
Without much thought, he began swimming towards the crashed plane. His crashed plane.
He reached the shore, now being able to get a closer look at the wreckage, and it looked like an absolute war-zone. In the middle of it all was the middle section of the fuselage. It laid on it's side causing one of the wings to stick straight up towards the sky. Occasionally the inverted engine would spit out sparks on the mayhem below.
Around the fuselage scattered fires burned in the sand, as dozens of people ran around screaming and attempting helping each other despite all the chaos. Their screams were drowned out by the sound and wind caused by the roaring engine. Not the one on the plane wing but the one resting in the sand, that sucked in everything within 10 feet in front of it every time it throttled up.
His eyes swell up with tears, but he refuses to let them fall. He's scared, confused and he hated the fact that this is what his life has turned into, but he refused to give in.
He turns his head and sees a woman with a piece of scrap metal in her leg. She's screaming, crying out for help. He's met this woman, just moments before the plane started to crash. Her long brown hair was out of place, but of course in the situation she was in she didn't bother to fix it.
Without much hesitation he ran over to help her.

42 minutes earlier
He was walking back to his first class seats after coming back from the plane's bathroom. He stopped as he adjusted his black leather jacket and picking a piece of cotton off of his grey sweater. He would've kept going, but he was stopped by a lady who was sitting in her seat.
"Excuse me?" She began, causing him to stop in his tracks. "Aren't you that Macy Jonathyn guy?"
He turned to look at her. A small smile formed on his lips. "It's Jonathyn Macy, but yes, that's me." He smiled a little bigger, giving the woman a quick glance of his perfect white teeth.
She smiled back both apologetically and kindly in return. She moved a few strands of her long, curly brown hair out of her face before opening her mouth again. "Sorry, I don't mean to bother you, it's just...my daughter. She's a huge fan, and I was just wondering if I could take a picture with you, for her?"
Jonathyn nodded. His wavy, shoulder length brown hair bouncing along with each head movement he made. "Uh...sure, why not?" He smiled as the older woman unbuckled her seat belt and got out, holding her phone.
She turned on her front facing camera and they both posed for the selfie, him smiling revealing all of his white teeth, and giving a thumbs up. The woman did the same before checking the picture to make sure it's ok.
