(Phil's pov)
I sat on the couch as Dan and Y/n chatted the day away. I don't understand why I like BOTH of them. I just met Y/n this morning and now I have some sort of emotions, like a mix between giddiness and worry. I heard the door open, and I anticipated for someone to enter the hallway. Sure enough, someone did. It was Y/n walking into the kitchen. "Oh hey Phil." She smiled and waved to me. "Hi Y/n." I shyly spoke, not trying to get to awkward while we were alone. "Hey Phil?" She asks. "Yeah?" I respond, standing up. "Well I can't reach the chips Dan want. To short." She chuckled. "Uh oh. Is it the Dan shelf?" She tilted her head to the side, confused on the "Dan shelf" concept. "Oh! Um...its a shelf that only Dan's arms can reach." I chuckled. "Oh ok. Maybe if we work together?" She asks. "How?" I ask. "Can I get on your shoulders?" My face must have been slightly red, because she smiled. "I'm sorry if I got you all....uncomfortable." I smiled. "Oh! No not at all! I'm sure." I smiled and walked over to her, practically sitting on the floor. She got on my shoulders, I stood up, and held onto her knees so she wouldn't fall. "Ok. Reach up and grab it." I smiled and looked up at her as she did. She reached out with such a focused expression on her face. "You got it." I smile and she nodded. She grabbed the box but lost balance. She fell off my shoulders and screamed Phil. I caught her in a ballroom dance dipping style. Dan ran into the kitchen and looked at me with an angered expression. "Phil, get your sweaty palms OFF of my girlfriend." Dan growled and she stood up, walking towards Dan. "He was just-" Dan hushed her. "Don't touch my girlfriend again, or else." Dan growled, grabbing her hand and walking away from me. "Dan he didnt-" she stopped. "Shut up before this gets worse for you." I heard him growl before he slammed the door shut behind them. "I'm sorry."
