So a quick backstory to the picture that will lead into the update:
I saw this notebook the past few times my mom took me and brother to Target to go school shopping, but I never told her I wanted it. Then, just yesterday, I saw it again and I knew that I wanted it. I showed it to her and she said it was cute and that I can have it. Then we looked and she said that it was college ruled and the teachers wanted us to have wide ruled notebooks. Then I explained to her that the teachers don't care as long as you have notebooks, so she bought it for me. Anyways, on with the update...
This notebook really spoke to me and made me happy, but it also reminded of the all the issues with racism and people who are homophobic. If you haven't read what it says, it says, 'there is room under the sun for everyone.' Which is what racists, homophobes, etc. don't understand. It is a real issue because they don't think that there is room for everyone on this planet, and that only the race or anything else that they fit into that they believe is superior are the only people that have room on the Earth. Which is not true at all. God, and the notebook say that there is room for everyone under the sun. God made/is making everyone on the planet because he knows that there is room under the sun for us all. People need to know that everyone is equal and everyone has room under the sun here. Just because I'm white doesn't mean I think black people don't have room on the planet. Because they do. Just because I'm heterosexual doesn't mean I think that people of the LGBT community don't have room on the earth. Because they do. Just because I'm Christian and it makes me sad to hear that some people I know are Atheists doesn't mean I think they don't have room on the Earth. Because they still have room on the planet, even if I don't agree with how they view religion and God. I just think racism and sexism and anything else invented by man that says we are not equal is awful and it needs to change. It doesn't need to just change; it needs to end. Because there is room under the sun for everyone.
So, yeah, a more serious update I guess.
Please support everyone and know that everyone is equal, and there is no race, gender, or sexual orientation superior to all the others. Thanks guys.
