Hey guys!
So, here it is. After several weeks of grading, discussion, and deliberation, we've finally come up with the victors of this round.
As we mentioned before, the format of the contest will be changed due to the small amount of contestants, so forget everything you know about the competition from Cycle 01 -- it's a whole new game.
For the Audition, we got a lot of interesting entries from you guys, some of which we agreed on, others we were completely split about, but we've managed to narrow it down to 11. That means 7 of you will be eliminated at this stage.
Let's begin.
While the entries were mostly solid, some cuts had to be made, and so each judge graded every entry on a 1-10 scale, for a maximum score of 40. For this phase, the range was 19.5-34.5/40, 19.5 being the lowest grade a contestant received, and 34.5 being the highest of the lot.
First up, in no particular order, we're going to announce the names of six writers who are safe and through to Phase Two. The remaining eleven will comprise our Top 5 and our eliminated contestants.
So, again, in no particular order, the first six writers through to the next round are:

And that leaves us with one spot. One of the remaining eight contestants in safe and in the Top 5, and the remaining writers will unfortunately leave the competition at this stage.
