So, we're finally here: The Rounds!
Each week, the remaining seven writers will be presented with a prompt to write a piece about. Each round will see one or two contestants be eliminated until we reach the final two.
For Round One, Evie picked the prompt, so without further ado, writers, here's your task for Round One:
One of the best abilities a writer can possess is the ability to shock his/her/their reader -- something some of our judges have become known for! For this task, you will have to write a 1-1.5 page story that ends in the most shocking way possible. Give us your best cliffhangers.
The deadline is Friday, August 26, 12:00 AM EST.
