Please Help Me (a Doctor Who fanfic)

Chapter 15

Rose was back and Pondak had managed a track down the Doctor when he escaped.

They were all in the TARDIS trying to decide where to go.

"Where do you want to go?"

"I don't care you decide"

"No you decide!"

"Ladies please you're giving me a headache I'll decide!" Pondak had enough of their childish behavior and starting spinning around the console entering a destination.

The TARDIS shook then stopped, signaling they were at their destination.

"Now since you couldn't decide I brought you to a place that you both will love."

She opened the TARDIS doors and the sight was amazing.

The Doctor couldn't believe his eyes, he hadn't seen it in so many years.

Rose was just amazed at the sight, she had no clue where they were. Oh but the Doctor knew, he would never forget. It wasn't possible yet here it was.

"How in Gallifrey....... ARE WE ON GALLIFREY??"

"Helloooo, Lord President here, I couldn't just let you throw my baby away now could I? You didn't know about its existence for the safety of our race but I think it's time for that to change."

She waltzed out of the TARDIS like she owned the place, well because she did. Immediately she saw the law of Gallifrey coming their way. They were ordered to keep the Doctor off of Gallifrey and that's just what they were about to do. She stepped further out to where they could see her.

"Hello boys, long time no see right? Now I told you a long time ago to keep this baboon from getting on our planet, But I have given him a pardon straight from the Lord President. Him and his companion are not to be messed with, understand?"

All of the soldiers nodded and turned the other way leaving her with the Doctor and Rose.

"Now word will get out quick that the Lord President is back in town, so how about until then we go enjoy some of the sights of Gallifrey?"

The Doctor and Rose followed closely in her footsteps. The Doctor looked around, everything really had changed since the time war.

He wasn't sure if it was a good thing or a bad thing. The place he grew up was so different. He barely even knew the place anymore.

The place that was once his home still held ghosts of the place it was before. Remnants of his childhood were still there. Faint, but there.

He saw the spot where his house once stood and he couldn't help but walk to it. It was no longer his house just some store where local Timelords could buy the things they needed.

His hand traced over the door that he used to walk through every day when he got home. He smiled momentarily memories flooding back.

Rose stood watching him. She could see the hurt on his face. He thought he had wiped them all out. He thought he had killed his family.

"My family, where are they?" At the sound of his voice Pondak looked regretful.

"I'm sorry Doctor, but after the time war, we couldn't find them." Tears silently trickled down his face but he was still looking at the store.

The place he once could call home.

The place where he had a family.

The place he can never go back to.

He turned wiping away the tears with one motion of his hand.

"I can't stay here, it's too painful." Grief flooding through him he walked away from the little store.

"Miss President?" Pondak turned to the sound of a man's voice.

"I need you to come with me." He pointed his gun towards her and more soldiers stepped out from around them.

Two grabbed the Doctor before he could do anything and another held Rose at gunpoint.

"Don't you hurt her!" Pondak looked back at the Doctor momentarily silencing him.

"I'll come with you, but you have to promise not to hurt them."

The soldier pressed a button on his wrist and a futuristic tube appeared behind him. The Doctor looked at Rose and mouthed the word. "TARDIS"

Pondak put up no fight. She got in without protest. As soon as the door closed the machine was gone.

"Okay you can let us go now." Rose was talking to the Soldier.

"I have other plans." He walked up to her flashing her with a metal stick. She slumped into the soldiers arms and he picked her up.

"Rose! No you can't do this! You hear me you hurt her and I will find you!" The Doctor fought to get out of their grasps but it was no use. 

The soldier was already gone with Rose in his arms.

Hi guys!

So it's been a while since I've updated. I've had writers block so bad and I've also been really busy with Color Guard and school so yeah.

I'm sorry if my representation of Gallifrey isn't what you imagined. That's what I imagine.

Also I'm really thinking of doing a large Doctor who themed cover contest thingy and I need some input on whether I should.
