Please Help Me (a Doctor Who fanfic)

Chapter 17

"What do you mean.. she's not Rose Tyler..? I know my Rose! That was her!" The Doctor was becoming more hysterical by the second.

"The woman we took from you, Sir, we took her because she is not who she looks like or who she says she is." The soldier snapped and through the door came two more soldiers holding Rose by her arms.

"What do you mean that's not Rose..? That's her right there!! Rose.. sweetheart did they hurt you? I swear if you hurt her I will make your life hell." The two soldiers pushed on Rose's arms making her drop to her knees.

"What're you doing stop it that's my Rose!" The Doctor ran to her side but she just pushed him off and remained looking at the floor.

"Rose, dear, please tell me it's not true." This time it was Pondak that spoke up, she didn't want to believe it, not with everything the Doctor had been through this would tear him apart.

"I'm not Rose Tyler. I'm a shapeshifter from a distant planet sent to get close to the Doctor and kill him." In a split second the short blonde haired dainty girl that was before them turned into a completely different person, tall muscular and well, blue to be exact.

"This was my mission and I plan to complete it."

Before anyone could react she had the Doctor pinned to the ground and a knife through his chest.

"DOCTOR!" Pondak's voice was distant to him as he was staring into the eyes of the person that wants him dead.

The imposter was grabbed by two soldiers and pulled off of the Doctor and Pondak was by his side. "Hey... stay with me it's okay.. everything will be okay.. I'm not letting you die on me.. just regenerate everything will be okay."

"Damnit Regenerate! I will not have you die on me! Not after everything!" The Doctor just stared at her his eyes broken and holding no emotion.

"Please.. Doctor.. just regenerate! Goddamnit regenerate." She shifted to where his body was against her chest.

"Rose wouldn't want it this way and you know it! She would want you to live!" The Doctor lifted his hand up to Pondak's face.

"Rose isn't here anymore, I'm going to meet her. Take care of Gallifrey for me old friend? I'd like that." And with those final words the timelord became limp in her arms.

The soldiers escorted the shapeshifter out of the room and Pondak's sobs were just enough to drown out the maniac laughing of the Doctor's murderer.

"I'm so sorry..." Pondak dragged her hand over his face and closed his eyes before kissing his forehead.

That evening all of Gallifrey mourned for their fallen hero. Every child knew that the Doctor was the one that saved them. Every mother thanked his memory for keeping her children alive. Every father reflected on how he saved their families.

The next morning the biggest and most extravagant funeral ever to take place on Gallifrey happened. All to send off one fallen hero, the Doctor.

Welp... my wovians... that is the end of the book. I hope you like it and I assure you there will not be a sequel I love it the way it ended.
