Chapter/part one

"Bloody hell!" Alison yelled as her computer shut off. "This cheap piece of trash is getting on my nerves," she mumbles as the picks up the grubby laptop and tosses it onto the chair next to her. It had been around two weeks since the 18 y/o girl had moved out of her families Las Vegas home to pursue her music career in the U.K. She was currently living in a broken down, little apartment that had cracks in the ceiling that dripped when it rained. At least she lived somewhat near her favorite bands house/studio. Alison peered out of the shabby curtains on her window, towards the illuminated building on the hill. "Kong Studios," Alison sighed to herself. "Oh how I wish I lived there too but, that'll never happen."
Suddenly, lightening crashed overhead of the studio and Alison jumped back in fear. She figured that it was because Murdoc was most likely doing some satanic ritual. She knew everything about that man, where he was born, his star sign, and his entire life story. You could say she had a little bit of a crush on him. Walking over to her couch, Alison sat down and turned on the tiny T.V. in front of her. As she flipped through channels an ad caught her eye. A mans voice spoke, "Can you sing? Do you want to be famous? Well then this is the ad for you! Gorillaz is looking for a new back up singer! Come to Kong Studios on May 16th at 12:00 P.M. to audition for your chance to be part of the worlds greatest band!"
"HOLY SHITE!" Alison yelled at the top of her lungs, earning a bang on the wall from her neighbor. This was her chance! She'd get to become a singer like she'd always wanted and meet her dream guy, Murdoc Niccals! Alison checked the date on her calender, May 15th. The auditions were tomorrow! She knew she'd have to make a lasting impression, so she picked out a cute outfit and took a quick shower before heading off to bed.
