Something clicks in my head. The person currently making a mad dash towards my window is the boy who's been trying to come see me! I don't know what he thinks he's doing seeings how I'm on the fourth floor and there's no way he can get to my window. "Jordan!!!" I hear him call from below. I try to get out of my bed as fast as i can, but obviously I'm still quite slow because her calls again "Jordannn!!!" Finally I make it to the window and look down, there he is and I notice he's holding something. A rope! "Hello?" I say more as a question rather than a greeting. He looks up, "Jordan!" He yells for the third time "yea, I think we've already established that's my name" I call. He gives me a look and holds up his rope. "I'm gonna throw the rock that's tied to the end of this rope up and you're gonna catch it, then you'll need to tie it to something stable in you're room" he yells. "Ok, I guess" I say without really thinking about it. "Alrighty, here it comes!" he says throwing up the rock. I miss it and it falls and lands on his head, he winces and rubs the top of his head ferociously giving me another one of his already familiar death stares as he prepares to throw the rock up again. This time I catch it. I untie the rock and then walk over to the door of my bathroom and open it, threading the end of the rope through the gap where the hinges sit and then bring it around the back and then return it to the front and tie it to itself, successfully tying it in a big loop around my door and then I giving it a little tug to check its stability, I shut the rope in the door and then walk over to the window and shout "all clear!" he smiles and starts climbing, only now do I realise how much physical strength he must have to climb this rope and throw that rather large rock four stories high. He's about half way already, but is looking pretty tired. Only now does it dawn on me how dangerous it is for him to try and climb up a rope that's four stories high without a safety net. I mean, what do I do if he falls off? what can I do if he falls off! I'm stuck up in this room and there's no way Wanda will let me out of here without official permission. I look down at him again, but this time we're so close to bumping heads that I stumble backwards. His head pops up over my windowsill and he wiggles his eyebrows, "what's up doc" and then he looks down "would you look at that, I'm whats up" he says wriggling his elbows onto the windowsill. He looks up at my face "Well don't help me or anything." He drawls nonchalantly. I run over, surprised at myself for just staring at him struggling and pull him inside. "ow, couldn't you have at least waited for me to get my footing before dropping me like a sack of potatoes?" he whined as he stood up.I wander over and sit down on my bed. I finally have A good look at his appearance, He has soft green eyes and sandy blonde hair and is about 5.4 ft. His grizzly mood quickly diminishes as he looks at me. "Hi?" I say, as if we haven't already greeted each other yet. "hey" he says and moves across the room to come and sit next to me on my hospital bed. "apparently I'm Jordan" I say "and you are?" His eyes turn glossy "Jordan?" he questions. "So is your name Jordan too?" I joke. "No... You don't remember who I am?" his eyes starting to form tears of hurt. "should I?" I ask, a little to insensitively. He cringes, "I'm sorry, I thought you remembered me because you replied to the light I shone in your window... it used to be our thing". "What do you mean?" I ask quizzically, "who were you to me?". "Jordan, my name is Adrien... and you were my umm ..... almost girlfriend".
