He's only been gone for seven days but to him it feels like seven weeks. So when he sees her waiting for him at the arrival area, cheekily holding up a Welcome Back sign, he drops his bags and runs to her.
She meets him halfway.
As she wraps her arms around him, something inside him settles into place. He smiles against her lips.
