Chapter One: Mr Arrogant

As I sit there in silence watching old episodes of Doctor House on the tiny screen that fit perfectly in the palm of my hands, abruptly the movie was cutoff just as he was about to find the reason for the little girl's illness only to be replaced by the caller I.D of Adam Crossby.
Sighing lightly as the features of my face quickly wore anger, confusion and sadness.

ugh what could he possibly want to talk about I thought lightly.

I watched the phone ring until it went straight to voicemail.

Finally I can finish the much anticipated episode.

Ding ding ding ding

The door chimed signalling that there was a new customer just walked in.

I'm being interrupted a lot today.

I looked up from the screen looking expectantly at the new customer, but nobody was there.

Hmmm odd...

Without a second glance I placed my ear buds back in and resumed the episode I was watching.

A couple seconds in I felt hot air on the back of my neck, I nearly jumped out my skin hitting the guy in the face that was now present in front of me.

"What the hell was that for!? " he said with a horrified expression.

I stared mesmerized by his defined chiseled features, tall, medium built, dark hair and judging by the multiple bulges on his stomach I could see his abs under the light blue fabric that made him look like he was made to perfection.

He must work out a lot to get those results heck he must spend a lot of time in the gym if you ask me I can't even remember the last time I worked out or went to the gym ha! Who am I kidding I quit going to the gym after my first session.

"Hello? Anybody in there?".

I snapped out of deep thought after seeing the guy waving frantically saying Miss.

"Uh....hi um sorry about hitting you I was just surprised and I get spooked easily... Er, how long have you been there? ".

"Long enough to notice you were intrigued in the movie you were watching I mean I could've been a thief or a serial killer for all you know but obviously I'm way too hot to be anything but" his lips slightly curving into a smirk.

I immediately narrowed my eyes at the cockiness that was present in his words.

He must be joking.

"Cocky much?" I replied challenging him.

"Well from how you were gawking at me it is clear that you think so too".

"Ugh get over yourself you look like a retarded monkey".
