About 10 minutes later I sat in the kitchen with Jackson while Colton and Brandon went to get the other Parkers. And can I just say what a nice kitchen it is? It's really big and styled in a modern yet kind old fashioned way. The counter Jackson was sitting on was a cream granite that looked amazing.
"Do I get to know your name yet?" Jackson asked.
"You already know my name. You asked the kid who sits next to you in English," I reply.
"What...how-"
I silence him with a look.
"Fine. Ok. Yeah I asked that kid. I was curious. I wanted to know who you were. Not many girls react the way you did when you met me."
"What. You expected me to melt at your feet begging for you to notice me because I was so incredibly awed by your greatness and good looks?" I shot back dramatically putting the back of my hand to my forehead.
"More or less. Yeah," he admitted.
"Newsflash buddy. I am not that kind of girl. Also you are not that good looking," I say with my signature smirk. I have to say, I am a bloody good liar, because he is looking damn fine with that tight black shirt showing off his chiseled body.
"WHAT! I will have you know-" he began indignantly.
"Shut up Jax. You know she's right," Dylan grinned as he hopped up on the counter near where I was standing.
"Hey Bailey."
"Dylan," I nod as the rest of the Parkers file in behind him.
"Well you know these two clowns," Colton starts off pointing to the two blonds next to me. "And you know Brandon," he gestures to the grey-eyed brunette I had seen earlier.
I nod.
"This is Ryan our other brother."
"Hey," I say to the blue-eyed boy with raven black hair.
He nods back as an older couple walked into the room.
"I see you've met my boys. I'm Sebastian Parker. This is my wife Laura. You must be Bailey."
"I am." I reply, shaking the hand of the smiling man in front of me. I now know where the boys got their looks. Laura has the most beautiful green eyes and blond hair I've ever seen. And Sebastian looks like Ryan with his stunning blue eyes and jet black hair.
"So. I hear you discovered one of our...transactions taking place," Sebastian pauses looking at me.
"Yeah. Now I know why you sent Talia all the way to Melbourne Girls' instead of Carroway Girls'. I thought that seemed a bit weird."
I somehow kept a straight face as I watched their jaws hit the floor. I should get an award for my acting skills. Seriously. Even Brandon looked shocked. Ryan was the first to recover.
In a deadly calm voice he asked, "How do you know about Talia?"
Wow. Maybe he should get the award for quick recovery.
Not one to back down, I cryptically replied, "The same way I found all your names, class schedules, address..."
"Our address!?!?" Ah! Looks like Dylan's awake too. Hm. Looks like Jackson hasn't told anyone about our conversation back at the drop.
"How else do you think I knew that Brandon's car was the black HSV, when you were leaving and then find out where you were going to be tonight? Really Dylan."
"Just how do you know all this about us?" Sebastian began. Then I saw a strange look come on his face as he stared at me hard and asked, "Are you with Cortino?"
