"Phil? Come here please." Dan called to his boyfriend.
Phil walked over to Dan, who was sitting in the living room. Phil looked down at Dan, who was sitting on the couch, twiddling his fingers nervously.
"Sit, Phil." Dan said before Phil could reply. Phil thought by the way he was acting was pretty strange, and started to get nervous himself.
They sat there in silence for a moment, then Dan took a deep breath and began to speak.
"I'm ready to tell you the secret."
Phil's eyes lit up with excitement, as he leant in closer to Dan, eager to hear about his secret.
He had been waiting for decades to hear about it, and now is the time.
Dan took another deep breath, before saying the two fateful words of his secret.
"I'm Vegan."
