Valentine's Week

Chapter 3

Yarri's Pov

As we got off the bus and entered the school I saw one of my girls taking down chairs. Her name is Tyla.💙

"Hey guhh" I yelled.
"Wussup bihh" she said like she was happy asf.
"Why you so happy?"
"I'm not. I'd rather be sinking in quick sand than be here..."
"Well damn"

Then another one of my girls walked in. Trina.💖

"Sup Trina?" I said
"The sky, but yo today finna be lit asf😛" she laughed all happily.
"Yo, wussup with y'all and the happiness?" I asked.
"I'm happy because it's Valentines Week." Trina said.
"Oh." I said lowly.
"And because you said you would tell Bry you like him today!" She added.
"Ugh" I said rolling my eyes.
"Don't say ugh, y'all would be cute" Tyla said.
"Mmhmm sure" I mumbled.
"Come on Yarri. Your gonna have to tell him before he gets a girlfriend." Trina said.
"Whats the point of telling him?? He prolly like Paris" I said, taking a chair down.
"I doubt it." Tyla said.
"*gasps* Yarri you like Bry?" Brandon interrupted.
"Yes Brandon" I said clearly annoyed.🙄
"Yay I've always wanted a way to get him to talk to me." he said.
"Awww Brandon tryna get in with the big kids." I said.
"Don't say that. It makes me sound like a 5th grader tryna talk to a 9th grader" he whined.
"Aww😂" I said, "Now will you please tell me who you gotta ask out?"
"Ok, fine" he hesitated, "Tiana"
"Oh, Tiana's pretty" I said.
"She's perfect😍" he said staring at the roof.
"Ok, ok calm down" I said.
"Yarri just be happy you and Bry actually talk. He's like your boy best friend."
"Yeah. And thats the reason I don't wanna mess this up. You saw what happened with Trey, I don't want the same to happen with Bry. Only difference is I'll be the one dating him." I said looking at Asia.
"Yeah sorry bout that." Asia said patting my back.
" If you want, I can tell him." said Tyla
Nooo! Yarri has to tell him." yelled Trina.
"Yarri has to tell who what?" Sasha asked tryna be nosey.😐

We got these nosey, annoying ass 12th graders at our school. It literally doesn't matter if you well-known or not. They will stay in your business, spread lies, and start up drama. I looked at that bitch crazy. Tf she care about me for?🙄

"Nobody, nothing." I said, straight and simple.
"I'll find out eventually." she said, walking away.
"Sure she will..." Asia whispered under her breath.
"Hello people of the world!" Olivia said, walking in.
"BYE!" Tyla yelled.
"Tyla..." said Asia.
"What?" Tyla said. "Something good is post to happened today and we don't need her messing it up!"
"Well that is true..." Asia replied.

Olivia actually isn't part of my squad but she's still in my classes with us so we have to be nice to her.

"Mess what up?" Olivia asked.
"Yarri has to ask out Bry this week" Asia replied.
"Oh, well how would I mess that up?" she asked.
"Remember what happened with Elgin? You screamed out "ELGIN YARRI LIKES YOU" and a lot of people heard you." Tyla snapped.
"Then Trina and Tyla did the same, so basically all of y'all could ruin it by thinking your helping." I said.

If your confused and care about the stories of the boys we're talking about, I'll explain.

So last year I was friends with this boy named Trey and we was going good and I started to like him because Bry had moved to Chicago for a year. Anyway, I started to like him and then he started to like Asia. So they started going out.🙄 Even tho Asia knew I liked him. But it was ok in the end because he moved to a different school and never talked to her again.

And then there's Elgin. I had got a bf after the Trey nonsense happened. Then near the end of the school year we broke up and I started to like Elgin, a boy in 12th grade. I liked him but it wasn't anything serious so I told my squad. And they can never keep a secret. So every time they got the chance they yelled that I liked him. Then Olivia came and yelled at him. Through the hallway. So everybody could know. Even tho he already knew. I was so embarrassed. I swear that bitch hates me.🤔 I hate her too so it doesn't matter. But I got over him so Elgin and I are good.😌 And he's one of Bry's boys.

Nothing really happened for like the next 20 minutes. We just sat there on our phones and waited till the rest of us came so we could go to class. Eventually 2 more  of my girls walked in.
Shantii and Jas.

"Yarri are you ready?" Shantii asked.
"No" I said.
"For what?" Jas asked.
"Oh she ain't tell y'all?" said Shantii.
"No cause I knew they was prolly gonna do sum and mess it up." I said.
"So am I the only one that walked in here not knowing this?" Jas asked.
"No." said Olivia and Tyla.

Bry's Pov

"Byeeee" I told my brother as I got off the bus.
"Bye lil bro" he yelled back.

Thank god I'm at school.🙄 Most kids don't say that, but I do. Only thing that I got against school is some petty ass teachers.
I literally just walked in the school looking like my dad ran over my puppy. As I walked in I saw Yarri and her girls staring at me like I was the most interesting thing in the world.🤔 I just ignored and went to my table.😐

Yarri's Pov
"Yarri why yo boyfriend looking so sad?" Asia asked.
"He not my boyfriend and I have no idea," I said. "I would ask but ion wanna make him mad."
"Aww Yarri looking out for ha bae" Asia gushed.
"Awwww hush" I mocked.

Bry's Pov
"Wuddup Bry?" my boy, Nico, asked.
"Nun. Ain't nothing going on in my life, I'm just breathing." I replied.
"You know its Valentine's Week" my other boy, Elgin, said.
"Yes" I said.
"Well you need a Valentine's" my last boy, Kobe, said.
"Why?" I asked.
"Everybody gotta have a Valentine" Elgin said.
"Even if they don't go to to this school" Nico said.
"What if I don't want one?" I asked.
"Oh well, you gotta get one" Kobe said.
"While y'all worrying about me, do y'all have some y'all selfs?" I asked.
"Yep" Kobe and Elgin said.
"Nope" Nico said.
"Well good for y'all 2 and I thought you asked out Asia" I said rubbing my eyes.
"He was gonna but he chickened out" Kobe said.
"Oh" I yawned.
"Damn you can't ask Yarri to be yo Valentine looking like that" Nico said.

I lost my hearing after that. Did he really just say that?🤔 They keep bugging me about a Valentine, but do I really wanna ask out Yarri tho? I mean she pretty but she's like a sister. But she pretty. But she's like my sister. I was snapped outta thought when I felt the side of my head hit something cold.

"BRY WAKE TF UP" Nico yelled my ear.
"Damn!!" I yelled. "Wtf just happened?"
"You zoned out so Nico yelled in yo ear and you fell out yo chair." Elgin said like he had just seen a ghost.
"Oh umm, what did you say?" I asked like I was clueless.
"You should ask Yarri to-(gco)" Nico repeated but got cut off.
*riiiiiiiingggggg*
"Lets go y'all" I said.
