Chapter 6

"Bry?!?!" Tyla yelled.
"What?!" I yelled back. "Ion play about Yarri, he could've killed her."
"She's still breathing" Trina said lowly. "Is he still breathing?"
"Yeah he is" Helen replied.
"C'mon let's get them to the nurses office." Jas said.
"Oh and the rest of y'all, they slipped" I said. "They both slipped" Chantel added.
"They slipped" they repeated.
"Ok good" I said before walking out.

So Chantel, Tyla, Jas, Trina, Olivia, Shantii, and I carried that boy and Yarri to the nurse.

Text to Elgin, Nico, and Kobe~ Where ever y'all are, leave and come to the nurses office. Yarri hit her head.
Elgin~ What happened?
Me~ I'll explain later just hurry up.

Yarri Pov

I woke up and the whole room was just dark. I completely forgot what happened. I started to panic so I started screaming. After about 2 minutes a nurse, Chantel, and Bry rushed in and calmed me down.

"What happened?" I asked.
"You hit your head on the ground but you're fine now" the nurse told me. "Does your head hurt?"
"A little bit" I said holding my head.
"Well if it doesn't hurt that bad you can go on to lunch."
"Ok thank you"
"Your welcome" she said walking away.
"Can y'all help me?" I asked.

They grabbed my hands and helped me up. Since my head hurt like hell, I rested my head on Bry's shoulder.😌

"You know what happened after you hit the floor?" Chantel asked me.
"No" I said. "What happened?"
"Bry punched the boy that knocked you out"
"Why?😂😂"
"He could've killed you😕" Bry interrupted.
"Aww ik, but you could've killed him, then my best friend would be in jail for murder" I said.
"Yeah..." he dragged.

Kobe Pov

"Y'all went to see Yarri?" I asked.
"Yep" Elgin replied.
"She was knocked out bruh" Nico said.
"Not as knocked out as the nigga Bry punched😂😂" I added.
"Fr, his ass gotta big knot right in the middle of the forehead😂" Elgin said, finna fall out his chair.
"He shouldn't have messed with Yarri🙄" Nico said.
"Bry coming y'all" I said.
"Hey" Bry said, sitting down.
"Sup" Nico said.
"Where's Yarri?" Elgin asked.
"Sitting over at her table" he replied.
"Oh, she good now?" I asked.
"Yeah but she gotta headache and a big ass knot in the back of her head" he said sighing.
"Oh dang" I said.
"Well y'all going to the cheer competition tomorrow night?" Bry asked.
"Maybe but only to see Asia" Nico said.
"If my mom let me go" Elgin said.
"When you just gon ask out Asia??😐" I asked.
"Wednesday" Nico said.
"Mmhmm sure" I said.

Yarri Pov

"Now are you sure you wanna ask out Bry on Wednesday?" Chantel asked.
"Yes" I replied, putting hot sauce on my cornbread.
"Oh my gosh😑" Asia said, looking up from her phone.
"What?" I asked.
"Why do you put hot sauce on your cornbread?" She asked. "I've never understood that"
"The school cornbread is nasty so I put hot sauce on it" I replied.
"Is the school cornbread the only kind you put hot sauce on?" Trina asked.
"Yes." I replied. "My mom, grandma, and auntie cornbread and corn casserole is good asf,😍 but the schools have no flavor at all."
"Ok off cornbread" Tyla said.
"OMG Y'ALL REMEMBER WHAT BRY SAID AFTER HE PUNCH THAT BOY??" Shantii yelled.
"Girl. Calm down." I said.
"Oh yeah, I remember, it was so cute😊" Chantel said.
"I'm lost" I said putting some greens in my mouth.
"After he punched out that other boy Tyla screamed and he said he don't play when it comes to you" Jas said, smiling hard asf.
"Aww that's so cute" I said. "Its also cute how you guys are lying to make me feel better"
"But no one's lying😐" Shantii said.
"Oh" I put my fork down. "Y'all dead serious?"
"Yes." Asia said. "Yarri, Bry likes you.😌"
My eyes widened. "I'm finna die" I exclaimed.

Yooooo, I was getting so hot at that point. Like yo... the nigga I been friends with for years likes me??🤔 I wanna believe it but I don't want to. I hadda calm down. I got up and ran out the lunch room to the girls bathroom.

Bry's Pov

"Wait Yarri!!" Asia yelled running after her.
"What just happened?" Kobe asked.
"I... I have no idea" I replied. "I'll be right back"

I'm nosey but I also wanted to figure out what was wrong with my baby girl.😩💓 I mean best friend. Nahh I mean my baby girl.😍 Damn, I think I'm starting to like Yarri. No Bry snap out of it. *bam* Wow I'm clumsy.😐 I just fell into the wall. At least I snapped out of it. I lost Yarri and Asia tho.😑 I just walked back into the lunch room and sat down.

"That was short" Elgin said.
"Yeah I lost 'em"
"Haha" Nico said looking in his phone.
"Not funny" I said. "I fell into the wall and hit my head🤕"
"Wow everybody hitting they head today" Kobe joked.

Asia Pov

I ran after Yarri in the bathroom and saw her washing her face.

"Girl are you okay?" I asked, walking up to her.
"Yeah I'm fine, I just needed to calm down" she said grabbing a paper towel. "Lets go back to lunch"
"Ok?"

She doesn't seem ok...
