You still remember how you first met her. It was raining heavily and you were staring out the window of your room. Aunt May went out to get some stuff. You were deep in thought about something and was jolted when you heard a loud knock to your front door. You hassled there. You opened the door to see her soaking wet with her hair sticking out.
"I um...I'm sorry but it was raining so hard and I'm drenched. My house is a couple of blocks from here but I surely can't continue my destination like this. Can I maybe wait for the rain to stop first?" She asked unsurely. One look to her eyes got you whipped
"Uh..sure why not? C-come in" you showed her the bathroom and threw her wet clothes into the washing machine. You gave her your white T-shirt and a grey sweatpants. When she walked out drying her hair with a towel in your clothes, you just knew that you were in love with her.
If only it can happen again.
You asked her out and after months of dating each other, she came to your house on a Saturday night looking very flustered.
"Can I like, maybe spend the night here? Aunt May wouldn't mind would she?" She asked rubbing her arm. She was wearing a long sleeved shirt.
She always was.
"Oh no honey. Of course I wouldn't mind. Come on in. You're welcomed here" Aunt May gave her a hug as she stepped into the house.
"So, what happened?" I asked as she sat on my bed.
"Some shit happened. As always" she tied her hair into a ponytail. As she does that, the sleeve of her shirt rose up a little and you saw a red mark on her wrist.
"Allyna, what is that?"
"What is what?" She places her arm on her lap as she finished tying her hair and looked at you confusedly.
"That" you grabbed her arm and rolled the sleeve up.
"Allyna" you gasped lightly as you saw many red marks.
Scratch that. Red scars in slashes. Some were new and some were old. That night, she told everything about her depression. How her parents always fought and beat her up. You were the only one who knew about this and you did all you can to help her. The thought of her hurting herself hurts you too. She genuinely seemed like a happy person all the time but everyone has a dark side. You remembered the night she came to your house crying and wounded as her parents hurt her. You were always there for her. Comforting her and she can't thank you enough. You told her everything. About you being Spiderman and about you joining the Avengers. Even with saving the world, you would always spare some time for Allyna. She always seemed to be so proud of you. You knew she always brought up the best in you. Your love with her was like the movie screen.
But if she loved you, why would she leave you?
