We Are

today's the day!

"Yes! Todays the day we finally get to go! We discover which amazing person from fairytales we're related to! How can you not be exited! " I ask my pet racoon but he just carries on eating a little raison I found.
"*sigh* wow little guy I can just see the excitement in your eyes!" I chuckle before lifting him up onto my shoulder. He squeaks, "wait what's that you say my little companion! How do I know I will get picked? Well I don't I just have something you don't! Hope!" I chuckle again, I can't actually understand him but when ever he squeaks I can pretty much guess what it means.
Squeak!
"Oh you're right I better get home, man what would I do with out you!" I say directly to my little buddies face, he just turns his head and flops his adorable tongue out.
"Who you talking to weirdo! Yourself? " a girl with silky smooth hair and emerald eyes snaps at me.
"Actually my rat!" I snap back, it was dark so I took my chance to play a trick on her and pretended my little fluffy buns racoon was a rotten old vermin.
"Ewww! Ewww! Get away from me you weirdo!" She ran off screaming
After she was out sight I almost died of laughing.
"Nice work buddy! Your impressions are getting better! " I said after I had finished laughing. I held my hand out to him and he put his little paw on my hand, I had trained him to do this as a little trick to pass the time and distract people so I could work.
"..........oh yeh, home!" I finally realise.
We rush home as the sun goes down the horizon.
