We Are

let's get going

I loaded my things onto the bus and took my place next to a girl around my age with deep dark brown hair and chocolate coloured eyes.
"Hi nice to meet you! Were you from?" She asked as soon as I sat down.
"Well you JUST saw me get on so.." I answer
"Oh...yeh..anyway name's Sus!"
"Well nice to meet you Sus!" I said just as the bus jerked into motion. We just stare at each other for a few seconds.
"Yeh I don't think you're getting it I tell you my name then you tell me yours!" She finally said
"Oh well I'm Cat!" I say sudden realisation hitting me square in the face.
We talk for the rest of the ride which is long by the way, we went to america to pick up some other kids because our actual school is in america.
We go under a bridge which was hidden by some sort of darkness but as soon as we get out from under the bridge the world seems to brighten up, the sky seems brighter and almost everything is clean and shiny. I look out the window and see the city packed full of posters and lights. The posters are full of characters I've only read about, 'hiros robotic hospital', 'Copper and Tods family gardens', 'sleeping butties and snow White makeup shop' and the place that catches my eye,' Aladin's agility gym'
Once we're almost there Sus asks,"oh yeh before I forget, it's a racoon right? "
"Yeh and before you ask why he's with me it's because he saved my life and I saved his! We are kind of best friends!" I answer
"Hey I thought we were best friends,  oh hold me I'm hurt! I'm hurt!" She says while putying on a fake hurt face and fake faints into my lap.
"Get off!" I say while pushing her.
The bus screeches to a halt in front of a weird mansion-school thing.
"And welcome to the X-mansion!" Sus announces while I stare at it.
