Neefa woke up alone, wondering where Hie went. As she got up, she noticed that she’s been dressed in a night gown. Standing, she looked around the room looking for Hie. She notice a beam of light coming from the entrance of the room, the door is partially open. Then, she notice a hum, a light melody starting with slow rhythm which goes faster in pace.
“We’ll Meet Again.” Neefa murmured.
She follows the music as she walks out of Hie’s room. With the light showing the interior of the house, Neefa see just how big Hie’s house is. She still followed the music, getting louder and louder, it leads her to the dining room, where she sees Hie sewing something while amusing himself with the humming he’s doing. Hie has his back facing the entrance of the dining room but he spoke.
“Good morning Neefa-chan. Did you rest well?” Hie asked politely.
“Yes, thanks for everything.” Neefa said in a grateful tone. “That song, I know that. There’s only one person who knows how to play it.” She said in an indifferent voice.
“We’ll Meet Again. A song that a friend of mine from a long time ago.” Hie said without facing Neefa. “I forgot her face, but the song still remains in my head.”
“Shu-kun?” Neefa in her unsure voice.
“You do realize that it always annoys me when you call me that, Fa-chan.” Hie finally faced Neefa.
Neefa fell silent, but she noticed Hie holding a girl’s uniform in his hands and she also noticed the sewing kit behind him. Hie noticed that she’s staring the clothes that he’s holding. Hie just smiled and walk towards Neefa.
“For you. I took your measurements last night and I’m a bit surprised.” Hie said in a calm manner handing over a set of uniform for Neefa.
Neefa suddenly remembered what happened last night.
“Eeeeeh!!!! Wh…. What…?? It was just… I mean, I thought i….” Neefa suddenly stop her gibberish talk. “uuuuhhhh……”
“You were very assertive last night and now you looked like you did something embarrassing in public.” Hie started to laugh.
In the midst of Neefa’s mind struggling, she noticed something in Hie.
“Wait, it’s like you’re a different person now, you’re quite silent when I saw you yesterday.” Neefa said.
“It’s because the others, no matter what I do, they all treat me as someone creepy and needs to be avoided.” Hie’s tone dropped.
Neefa saw Hie’s smile suddenly fade. She felt something inside Hie is hurting. Like he’s even more alone with so many people around him but all of them are just avoiding him. Neefa feel sorry for Hie.
“I’m here now Shu-kun, maybe that’s the reason I wanted to talk to you yesterday, like I’ve known you before.” Neefa said in her soothing voice.
“I already know who you are yesterday, I also remember your scent, but I thought you already forgotten me, so I didn’t bother reminding you. But after you approach me, I was happy, but I didn’t show it.” Hie said in low tone.
