A Dragon's Secret

Chapter 5: ShuuykokuRyu

                Early in the morning, students walk on their way to school, it was just any normal day at NPOCC University. Neefa and the others chats about how things work at Hie’s house and how Hie normally acts at school, but Neefa feels something is missing, like everything makes sense but at the same time, it doesn’t. She shakes off that feeling. It’s been a week since Neefa transferred at her new school, and things seems pretty normal. She mostly spends her lunch time with Hie at the rooftop, eating lunch together. Neefa and Hie are in the same year level with everyone in the house but in different homeroom, except for Joel and Arisa.

                Everyone went to their respected rooms as the classes are about to start. Three students from another school, walks in front of NPOCC University. Each of them carries a wooden sword, and then they started to force-open the gate. The gatekeeper was about to stop the intruders, but one of the outsiders, wearing a mask, suddenly jump above the gate and strike the gatekeeper at the head, knocking him down. But before the gatekeeper pass out, he manage to blow his whistle. There was no sound in the whistle, but while in class, Hie reacted. Looking outside the window, he clearly sees three peculiar people carrying wooden swords and one of them wearing a mask. Hie also saw the knocked out gatekeeper, but he didn’t do anything, he just sit in his chair and continued with his class.

                “What’s with this dude, he blows a whistle but it didn’t make any sounds.” A guy with a Mohawk stated.

                “Maybe it broke, dumb old fart.” A guy with piercing answered.

                “It doesn’t matter, we’re not here for that. Now, let’s get this show on the road.” The masked man said.

                “Alright! Awesome!” The Mohawk guy and the piercing guy shouted.

                The outsiders break windows outside the main building. With the ruckus and noises being heard, students and teachers go all outside their rooms to find out what’s happening. Fast enough, everyone saw what really is happening, everyone gathered outside and see what the outsiders did. Anyone who tried to stop the outsiders gets beaten up.

                “Is there anyone who wants to fight?!” the Mohawk guy asked.

                No one answered. Neefa was with Nia and Cath stading behind the crowd. While Hie, Arin and Mar stands in the midst of the crowd.

                “Who are they?” Neefa asked.

                “Just delinquents from other school, thinking they’re tough.” Cath answered.

                “Always add stupid, they don’t really know what will hit them.” Nia added.

                While still talking, Hie started to walk towards the delinquents, someone holds his left shoulder. Another masked man, wearing a black jacket with white blazing flame design. His mask has no feat, just a plain white mask and his hair is spiky. As soon as he showed up, everyone took a gasp. In his back, engrave a word, ShuukyokuRyu.

                “It’s ShuukyokuRyu.” Students started to murmur to one another.

                “ShuukyokuRyu?” Neefa said.

                “He’s a mysterious guy, whenever something wrong happens to our school, he always appear.” Cath said calmly.

                “Let me handle this one buddy, stand back.” ShuukyokuRyu said to Hie.
