|Brooke's POV|
We aimlessly walked around after my random surge of depression and were ready to give up hope, tired, hurt, wanting to just go back a day and redo everything we could. But we couldn't. I knew better than to rewish the past, my on now was to change the future. I stepped over countless twigs and plants for what seemed like hours but were merely minutes. I did t even look up untill I saw a light in the distance. It was a large spotlight circling around. My first intention was to take cover thinking it was a helicopter. After a minute, I realized it wasn't a helicopter in the dusk, it was a spotlight circling around. I was drop dead speechless. "Josh!" No reply. "JOSHHHHH!" I said as loudly as I could while still being careful. An annoyed voice called out in front of me. "Brooke. What the hell do you want?" I ran over to him and grabbed his hand. Tugged it and pointed his hand to the light, annoyed. I didn't have to explain what I saw. His facial expressions showed enough. It was the camp that they were most likely at. And we had to get in there, even if it meant never getting out, at least we were in there together.
