Hayes' s POV

"Purge as in the movie? That shit is real?" Taylor said.

"It can't be, it's a movie. A movie. Or movies but whatever. It's fake." Nash said.

"yea. Dad and Nila wouldt of left us if it's the purge" I said.

Nash paused. "Or maybe they would! This time of year we're always in a different country for a vacation" Nash said.

"Same" all the guys said.

"So this time they only took Sky? What did we do?" I said.

"Maybe they think I'm old enough to watch me, myself, and you" Nash said.

I just looked at him. "It's official! Nash has gone insane!" I yelled.

"So they just left us? All our parents? No guns, no knives, no steel Windows, nothing?" Matt said.

"Well we have giant knives in the kitchen and we've always had those two guys in our basement. Dad said don't use them til we need them and we'll k ow when we need them so I guess that means we need them guns now" Nash said, all panicked.

"What about us? What do we do?" Carter said.

"Get those giant sharp kitchen knives. We can go break into a gun store later" I shrugged and ran to the basement.

I quickly grabbed the big one and gave Nash the pistol.

"Hayes really? I get the tiny gun? Hell nah" he said and grabbed my big gun.

He gave me the small one and I whined. "I don't want the small sh-" I started and there was noise behind the stairs.

We both froze. "Nash? What the hell was that?" I whispered.

"I don't kn-" he started and there was another noise.

"Hey guys? You ok? Hurry up" Johnson yelled down the steps.

"shut up Johnson" I mumbled through my teeth.

There was another noise and I heard "well ist that cute?" 

A guy in a mask walked out and I could see the guys huddling around the top step listening.

"The two brothers, thinking they can fight off me, while they're stupid friends upstairs only make it worse by trying to be a good friend and checking up on them" he started laughing.

He pulled up a gun and of course I screamed like a girl. Not afraid to admit it.

What? First time a guys ever had a gun pointed at me!

"Hayes? Really?" Nash said.

"Sorry, Nash, but I think I just had a heart attack. In fact dude, I don't even need you to shoot me. You killed me already. Heart attack. I'm dead now" I said and got on my knees slowly, then slowly layed down and acted dead.

"Haha. You're funny kid. Now get ready" he said and just then Nash shot him, pretty much falling back from the shoot.

"what the hell? Did you kill him? Did he kill you? Oh my god no not already! Hayes can't be dead already" Matt yelled and almost started crying.

"Would you shut the fuck up? I'm alive, you dinosaur" I said, getting up.

The guys ran downstairs and Matt hugged me. "Stay with me, you can't die on me now, Hayes" he said.

I shoved him off me. "The hell Matt? I'm fine. Look I can sing, I can dance. I'm fine bitch" I said.

Nash still looked so freaked out he had shot someone.
