Paris, 1905
Christine's POV
10 years has passed since a fire broke out in Opera Populaire, where I met my angel of music, Erik. It's been 10 years since he left me without saying anything, leaving me under the moonless night before my wedding day.
A lot thing has happened since that day, I married my childhood sweetheart. Raoul De Chagny, the viscount or may I say "The alcoholic viscount". This past 5 years he start to gambling and drink at the local bar, we loose so much money because of him. We can't pay the debt he made.
I became pregnant 10 years ago and bore a child named Gustave after my Father, on my labor day no one stand beside me. I was alone. My Angel of Music is death, leaving me with my new light of life. My little Gustave.
"Mother...Mother the mail is here" said Gustave running with a stack of mail in his hand.I took the mail from Gustave's hand, I look at the mail and only seeing a bills we have to paid, and when I take a look at the last mail I see a red skull wax print on the envelope.
"No, It Can't be him" my mind yelled...Cony Island, 1905
Erik's POV
I sit in front of my Piano trying to write a new song for the Grand opening of Phantasma theater. My music sense has die, I'm dying, Suffocated in the dark. I can't sing, I can't breath, I can't compose a music, I surrounded in the darkness once again.
Ten long years
Living a mere facade of life
Ten long years
Wasting my time on smoke and noiseIn my mind
I hear melodies pure and unearthly
But I find
I can't give them a voice without youI rumple my music sheets once again and throw it away.
My Christine, my Christine
Lost and gone, lost and goneI try to imagine my beautiful Christine after a long ten years, trying to regret everything in the past. Every second, every minute without her is only wasting my time.
The day starts
The day ends
Time crawls byNight steals in pacing the floor
The moments creep
Yet I can't bear to sleep
'Til I hear you singAnd weeks pass
And months pass
Seasons flyStill you don't walk through the door
And in a haze
I count the silent days
'Til I hear you sing once moreAnd sometimes at night time
I dream that you are there
But wake holding nothing
But the empty airAnd years come
And years go
Time runs dryStill I ache down to the core
My broken soul
Can't be alive and whole
'Til I hear you sing once more
And music, your music
It teases at my ear
I turn and it fades away
And you're not hereLet hopes pass
Let dreams pass
Let them dieWithout you, what are they for?
I'll always feel no more than halfway real
'Til I hear you sing once moreSuddenly I hear a knock in the door, Mrs.Fleck give me a bunch of mails and a newspaper. I take it from her and start to read the mails, It only a stack of bills. When I look at the newspaper, I see a familiar face in the front page.
My Beautiful Christine.
I read the main headline
"THE VISCOUNTESS CHRISTINE DE CHAGNY START TO SING AT THE OPERA AGAIN."
"THE VISCOUNT DE CHAGNY FAMILY RUN OUT OF MONEY. "
"THE VISCOUNT DE CHAGNY HAD
A DRINKING AND GAMBLING PROBLEM."My mind is yelling and boiling, reading every word in every paragraph. That fob surely pay for this!
I grin and thinking about an evil plan to get my Christine back.°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°
