I stood there frozen with my hand on my cheek. He had never touched me in eleven years and he just bloody slapped me, hard. He has never even hugged me. My cheek was burning hot and it was also, probably, very red. That was one of the things I feared the most, betrayal, because that's not the uncle Dan I knew. He just wasn't.

I pushed him out of my room and locked the door.

Matt came and hugged me.

"I'm sorry, this is all my fault." He kept saying.

"No, it's bloody not. It's his fault. Is it too late for me to move in next door?" I ask.

"I told you, you can move in whenever you want."

"Can I move in now ?" I ask again.

"Uh, yeah. Just pack, I will get the twins to help carry your stuff."

"No, don't wake them. I will carry my stuff myself. You go to sleep."

"Yeah, that's not gonna happen. I'll help."

"No, you will go to sleep."

"I am not letting you carry all your stuff on your own, forget it." He says.

"Fine. Now shut up and let me pack." I reply.

I took out the carpet bag I had taken with me at camping and put as much clothes as it can fit in it. Then I take out a big suitcase, which I have no idea why I own it, and put the rest of my clothes in there.

There was still space in the suitcase, so I put all my books and school stuff in there too, along with my three favourite bed-sheets.

"Okay, that's it. I will come for the rest tomorrow." I tell Matt. "You take the suitcase, I'll take the carpetbag and the schoolbag." He nods and does as I say.

Matt goes out from the window and I give him the suitcase, then get out too with the carpetbag over my shoulder, and my empty school backpack in my hand.

He opens the door and we go upstairs to the room I had slept in, around a week ago. We put my stuff on the bed and I started unpacking. I couldn't sleep, I was mad at my uncle.

By the time I was finished, the room looked a bit more like me. I had made my bed, I had put my stuff in the wardrobe and the drawers and my books were on the study.

It was 5:00 am when I went to bed and fell asleep, only to wake up an hour later for school.

Lucky me...

Do you remember these prank-wars, because I didn't. Apparently, they are still on, because as I opened the door to get out of my room, a bucket full of water fell on my head and Matt nearly fell off the stairs laughing.

"I'm going to get you when you least expect it, Dollace, just you wait and see." I yell at him.

The others were kind of surprised to see me get out of the empty room at the end of the corridor, but after we explained they shrugged it off.

"Matt, is that spare toothbrush you gave me last week still spare?" I ask checking the cupboards at the bathroom.

"It must be in the left cupboard at the lowest shelf." He shouts from the corridor. "Now hurry up!"

I found the toothbrush and got ready quickly. We would get something to eat on the way to school, so we didn't have breakfast. We did plan on going for pizza after school, though.

We were in a rush, so we hadn't checked the weather, and that was a huge mistake.

We opened the door to see it was raining cats and dogs.
