"These are the two you asked for, Master..." Kaito ushered us before him as he bowed low, showing great respect for the man in the chair above us. So that was Master...was he the only one who could make Kaito act...proper? "Ah, thank you, Kaito. You are dismissed." "Yes, Master," Kaito rose and began to leave. "Good luck~" He added, giving me and my brother an encouraging smile before he disappeared into a nearby hallway.

I giggled softly and turned to see that my brother was turning about fifty different shades of red. Oh, how cute he was~ But I seriously had to tell him that the blue boy was mine after we got settled. For the time being, I simply elbowed him, shaking my head. He got the hint and hung his head in apology and shame. "So," Master began suddenly, his lips curling into a smile. "You two are the new Vocaloids, no? Come with me." He stood up, motioning for us to follow. I quickly pulled my older sibling along before he could protest, ignoring his piercing glare as I ran to catch up.

We went up about two floors--man, this mansion really was big--until we reached two doors tucked into a brightly lit hallway. "These are your rooms--they're connected, but feel free to use them as you wish." "We get two whole rooms...?" I asked with wonder, touching the smooth wood on the door that bore a plate inscribed "ヤスミ (Yasumi)". When I looked over, my brother was doing the same thing. His plate read "ヤクモ (Yakumo)". Master nodded, taking his leave. "I expect you'll be ready for dinner..."

I could have sworn I saw a smirk on his face.

...or not. It was hard to tell when I was so mesmerized by the fact I now had a home, and...a name. I had a name... It said so right on this door.

Yasumi.
