"Naruto. Wake up." Iruka said, but Naruto didn't budge. "Naruto! Wake up!" He started yelling. "NARUTO! WAKE UP!" He still didn't move. Sakura and Sasuke looked a each other, they knew Naruto slept so heavily, not even 3 elephants could wake him up. They were only morning haters.
"Hey, Iruka-sensei? Let me try." Sasuke said. He went up to Naruto and examined him. Then he slapped an explosive tag on his head and stood back. The other students looked at him with wide eyes, minus Sakura of course. The explosive tag went off and Naruto woke up like nothing happened.
"Morning." Naruto said casually. Iruka's eye was twitching. The students in the classroom looked at him in awe. Some of the girls took a liking to the goofball. Iruka went back to the front of the class to make an announcement.
"Alright, now that Naruto's awake," He sent a glare at Naruto, "we can get to the point of why we woke up the sleeping whale. Its time to take the test to see where you are in the Academy. You land from the bottom, or the 'Dead Last', to the top, or the 'Rookie Of The Year'. Mizuki will pass out the test. I hope you all do well, good luck."
Mizuki started passing out the tests to all the students. He sent Naruto a hard glare and gave him a test only Jonin were to know the answer of. Naruto looked at it and smiled, if he passed this, which he surely will, the he can get one step further in his dream.
He sent Sasuke and Sakura some hand signs that meant Mizuki was a hater and rigged his test. They smiled and Sakura made a link between them, so if Naruto had any questions, she would be able to give hints.
Naruto wrote down all of the right answers and waited for everyone else to finish their test. Sakura and Sasuke had already finished before Naruto, due to them knowing everything, because they were forced to by Yugao.
Iruka took the tests off of the students' desk and looked at them.
"Sakura, first place konoichi.
"Hinata, second konoichi behind Sakura.
"Ino, third konoichi behind Hinata and Sakura.
"Sasuke and Naruto, tied for rookie of the year.
"Shikamaru, Shino, Choji, and Kiba all come after Sasuke and Naruto in order.
"Everyone else congratulations for taking the test!"
