Grayson's POV

I woke up and rolled over to see it was 3:34 am...

Why am I awake?

Elizabeth was sleeping in her pack and play; I could hear her tiny snores. I turned to my other side facing the wall to see Emma, curled up with a pillow. She had told me about her dad the night before we had gone to bed. I never really knew the whole story about what happened, I just assumed it was bad. I starred at her as I thought of how it was even possible for someone to want to hurt her like that... not only want to, but to actually physically hurt her.

I blew my mind how some could be so abusive to a family member, their daughter at that.

It was devastating to know that had happened to Emma, and now he wants to be apart of her life again? Maybe he has changed, maybe the thought of losing Brecken forever caused his actions, but I still hated the thought of her being around him once again.

He always seemed like such a good guy when we were kids. He was the principal of our school, always around all of us and seemed to have really cared. Growing up my dad was friends with hers and he looked out for me and my siblings as much as he did his own children.

I just hope that he has changed back into that person, the person Emma has needed these past couple years...

Emma started to move around and I could tell she was having another nightmare. I pulled the pillow out of her arms and moved closer to her, I wrapped my arms around her and laid my head on her chest. I could hear her heart beating fast, and I knew I had to wake her up...

I sat up leaning on my forearm so I was hovering above her, "Emma..." I spoke quietly not to wake up the baby along with her.

I pushed the hair out of her face and be hind her ear, her face was so soft... I leaned down kissing her on her jaw near her ear as I whispered her name once again. She started to move under me, she usually wakes up in a panic after a nightmare but this was different. Maybe talking about things like we did the night before was helping her.

She's always been open and honest with me about everything but when it came to her family and what had happened she mostly kept to herself. So did Jaxon, its like they were avoiding the truth and what had happened.

"What time is it?" she asked in her cute sleepy voice.

"Almost 4 in the morning, sorry I thought you were having a bad dream..." Maybe it wasn't a nightmare, maybe things weren't better.

She looked up at me as she laid in my arms, "oh no, was I yelling again? I'm sorry! Did I wake up Beth?"

"No, baby you're fine." I kissed her forehead calming her down, "You weren't yelling, I could just tell..." So maybe she was getting better, or I just stopped it before she got to the point of yelling and crying.

"Why were you up?" She started tracing her finger against me bare chest.

I looked down and followed her movement with my eyes, this is probably this closet we've been in awhile. "I don't know; I just woke up I guess."

She laughed for a moment, "That's kinda weird."

"That's what I thought, but I guess it was good timing to wake you up."

"True" She smiled at me and it created butterflies in my stomach.

I laid back down on her but farther up so our faces were next to each other. Inches away as we laid there starring. "Why don't you try and go back to sleep Em?"

"Will you hold me?" That is one thing that has changed, we usually sleep on opposite sides of the bed these past couple months. Its been forever since she's fallen asleep in my arms, and its something that I've missed...

"Of course baby." She turned in my arms and pressed her body against mine. I put my head on hers, I then laid a kiss on her neck as she snuggled in closer to me. "I love you..."

She intertwined her hands and mine, "I love you too Gray."

We both fell back asleep with in seconds.

Brecken's POV

I woke up in my bed, Declan must have carried me in last night once we got home from Denver. We had gone to the aquarium and to go see the new dory movie... it was really fun but I was sad I didn't get to go to the airport.

Which reminds me, somewhere in this house is a cute sleeping baby!

I jumped out of bed and went to Hannah's room to see her and Declan still asleep, good now I can have more time with the baby by myself! I went to the spare room where Emma and Grayson usually stay, and opened the door slowly. They were both still asleep but I heard movement from the little baby crib thing.

I walk over and looked in to see the cutest little baby ever, she is adorable and so tiny. "Hi Elizabeth Grace! I'm Brecken, I'm your auntie!" I reached down and let her hold my finger. Out of no where she started crying, and loudly! It kind of scared me. I started to back away slowly but I pumped into something, I turned around to see Grayson standing there.

"Brecken..."

I through my hands up in the air, "I didn't do it!"

He laughed at me and went to pick the baby up, "Why don't you wake your sister up now, im going to go change Beth."

"Wait! Can I help?" I loved helping with baby's!

"You sure?" I nodded in reply and followed him out of the room and into the living room.

Grayson laid down a blanket on the floor and grabbed what I assumed was the diaper bag. He laid her down on the blanket and took her cute little pajama's off.

Then it started to hit me! The worst smell ever.

"EWEEE!" I held my nose as he opened her poopy diaper. "That's disgusting! How are you even alive right now?"

Grayson's POV

It was hilarious how Breck reacted to a smelly diaper. I laughed "I'm use to it."

She fake fainted onto the couch, "That's so gross."

Brecken sat back up once I put a clean diaper on Beth, "We are all clear! You can breathe now"

She looked at me and shook her head. "No way, take it outside!" She pointed to the door still holding her nose. I got up and left Beth laying on the blanket, she cant really move around so I knew she would be fine.

"Are you sure you don't want to?" I got closer to her with the diaper and she ran into the kitchen.

"Grayson do not come close to me with that stinky diaper!" I pretended to throw it at her and she screeched.

I heard laughing behind me, "What are you two doing?"

"EMMA!" Brecken ran over to her giving her a big hug. "He was about to throw that smelly diaper at me!"

Emma just laughed more as she hugged Breck back. I quickly walked outside and threw the diaper in the trash. I saw an older lady walking by, she waved and winked at me. That was weird... but then I realized I was still shirtless, and defiantly cougar bait.

I walked back inside and saw Breck laying next to Beth on the floor. It was cute to see them playing together.

I felt arms wrap around my torso from behind, and then I felt Emma leave a kiss on my back. I turned around so I was facing her and away from the girls. "Morning Beautiful."

Emma wrapped her arms around my neck pulling me down. "I missed you..." she whimpered in my ear and then she gently pressed her lips against mine. It was once again and unexpected motion. It was more than just a kiss though, it was intimate, hot. I ran my hands under her shirt and up her sides pulling her body closer to mine. She tangled her finger in my hair and I lightly lifted her off the ground as everything suddenly became more intense. I've been missing her body.

"Ewe, can you guys get a room!" Brecken yelled from behind us.

I put Emma down and she let her hands fall down to my hips as she fell into my chest laughing. She looked beautiful, happier... "Sorry Breck..."

Emma went over and sat down next to the girls. It was so good to see her starting to come back to who she was.
