Chapter 7

Mikasa is not a happy camper, and I think I know why.

"Why didn't you answer my call that night!?"

'Yup I was right.'

"Mikasa, look. . . a lot happened that night and my mind wasn't exactly in the right place to be talking."

"I don't care what kind of mindset you were in! Do you understand how worried I was!?"

"I'm sorry, I-"

"I don't want to hear it, just get in the car."

"Where are we going?"

"Don't question me, just get in the car."

I give her a nod and obey her command.

Of all the times Mikasa's been mad at me, I think this is almost the worst.

The first time she was mad at me, I think was when we were younger.

I was playing around in a tree, and I fell, ending up in the hospital.

The drive from my workplace to her house is short, but agonizing. The awkward silence has me on edge.

By the time she starts talking again, we're already parked in her driveway.

"Look I know you might've been mad, but that's not the issue at hand. My issue is that you never called to let anyone know you were okay!"

"I said I'm sorry! I mean if you almost had your virginity stolen, would you be able to call someone and act like nothing happened!?"

Mikasas jaw dropped slightly in shock. Her eyebrows furrowed.

"Are you okay? He didn't hurt you did he?"

'Nope. In fact he gave me a taste of heav- No! no! no!'

I kept my mouth shut, not responding to her question.

"I'm guessing you're more than okay by the expression on your face."

"What expression am I making!?"

"Nevermind. Anyway, next time call to say you're okay."

I give her a firm nod and then continue to ask my next question.

"Why are we here?"

"You don't remember? Today's your birthday....."

YAYY!!! I FINALLY UPDATED!!!!

Now before I say anything else I wanna thank you guys for your comments they really motivate me to continue writing even when I don't wanna, so thank chu~

So back to what I was saying I'm sorry for the late updates I know, I know, I'm a bad author when it comes to the updates T^T But thanks for sticking with me even though I'm horrible with em!! I'll try to be better!!
