Chapter 22

"How long does a shower take Eren? Do I need to come in there and wash you myself?"

"No!!!"

I say this as loudly as possible over the rushing water.

After what happened earlier I deserve this small time to myself.

When he told me he was going to teach my body I didn't know what to expect.

Okay I did know what to expect a little bit, but I didn't think he'd tell me to shower... alone.

Although I'm glad he recommended it.

Because it feels as if all my worries are going down the drain along with the soapy water.

I'm confused why though.

"Eren!"

I turn off the water and get out immediately after I hear him call my name.

The last thing I need is him busting down my door.

When I'm done drying off I wrap the towel around my waist and look at myself through the half foggy mirror.

Aside from my reddish eyes and wet dog like hair I look normal I think.

It'll be okay.

Once I've gotten dressed and gathered myself I open the door.

To my surprise Levi is still in the room laying on my bed.

It doesn't occur to me that he might be sleeping until I see his eyes are closed.

He looks almost childlike when he's sleeping.

It makes me want to lay there beside him and watch him.

I try to deny the urge but somehow end up on the other side of the bed.

Quietly I get on the bed and face him.

After five minutes of staring I come to a conclusion.

He's cute when he's quiet.

I don't know how much time passes but I wake up to my alarm buzzing I realize I'm in Levi's arms.

How'd I-

Oh yeah. Yesterday I nearly broke down and he came for me.

The buzzing continues and I reach to turn it off so it doesn't wake Levi up.

I really don't want to get up from this spot but I have work today.

I really really really~ Don't want to go.

"Eren, why are you still here?"

My effort not to wake him was futile.

"I'm getting up. The alarm just went off."

"Oh okay, well I'll probably most likely be here when you come back. If not I'll come back. Okay?"

"Okay."

"Great, it's a promise."

Within seconds he's gone back to sleep.

That wasn't him talking while half asleep was it?

At work all I can think about is if Levi's still at my place and how much I want to go home.
