The Golden Blue

Kid (POV)

We were late, again. I Just can't help it. Everything was asymmetrical. ' Why couldn't the world be prefect? ' I thought walking up the steps to DWMA. Only to realize my weapons, Liz and Patty, Weren't following me. I turned around to see them at the beginning of the steps. Patty was looking at something on the ground and Liz was standing over her. I sighed and walked over to them, ' were already late so what is a few more minutes to it.' plus I knew when something has caught patty's attention, well, it takes forever to get her to pay attention.

" Hey Kid look!" Patty said holding up a necklace. It was a simple metal chain with a small stone in the middle that was gold with a blue outline. I stared at it and then took away from patty.

" Hey!" She wined. I ignored her and kept looking at the stone in the middle of the necklace.

" Hmm." I said before sliding it into my pocket. ' It most belong to someone ' I thought walking up the steps again.

" Hey kid! What are you going to do with it?" Both Liz and Patty asked at the same time. I turned and looked back at them to see they were already up the stairs.

" I'm going to find the one who owns it." I said once again turning to walk to the doors.

" Wow that's so cool of you Kid!" I heard patty say right behind me. I Let out a soft chuckle and kept walking, on inside the school. I kept walking through the hallway with Liz and Patty talking quietly behind me. I frowned hard and couldn't shake the feeling that today was different then the other days. Something was going to happen, something big and it was going to changed my life. I didn't know if it would change my life for the good or bad. I hoped for the good. I stared in front of me, walking closer and closer to our classroom. We were already a hour in and we only had a few more minutes in till first class ended. ' Man were so late.' I thought. I never liked being late, but I was always late. My life wasn't perfect, being Lord death son. Me and my father were never close, which only made thing's worse. I never knew my mother either and my father always avoided my questions. It made me angry. He's part of the reason I'm always quiet. I don't like people very much either, even so I have friends. So I'm not to far out of being weird. Still lost in my thoughts I heard the bell ring and I sighed. A few people started walking out of the classrooms and walked past me. I saw Tsubaki, but she looked worry and she was talking to someone I didn't know. It was a girl with black hair, she was kind of tall, but I was still taller. I walked closer and listen to their conversation.

" Oh my death, I can't believe I dropped it!" The girl said loudly.

" Lisa clam down, what did you drop?" Tsubaki asked, trying to clam her down. Yet the girl ignored her.

" It must have came off when Black star hit me on my back." The girl said continuing.

"Lisa what did you drop?!" Tsubaki asked louder this time. The girl named " Lisa " Looked at her.

" MY necklace, it's really important to me." Lisa said. I blinked in surprise and put my hand in my pocket to see if the necklace was still there. It was. I walked up to them slowly, not wanting to startle them, which didn't help. Lisa turned so quickly I didn't even see it coming. The next thing I know I'm on the ground with a blade to my neck. I felt the air get nocked out of my chest. I grunted and stared at the girl.

" Oh kid hi" Tsubaki said, unfazed of what Lisa did. Lisa stared at me with her blue eyes, I noted the bits of red in them. I also noted on how pretty her hair was and how it matched her eyes perfectly. Wait what? Lisa stared at me for a few more seconds before standing up and mumbling a " sorry." I stood up and brushed off the dirt on my shirt.

" So kid, what's up?" Tsubaki asked, still unfazed to what Lisa did.

" Well I couldn't help but hear your guy's conversation." I said turning to Lisa. I put my hand in my pocket and pulled out the necklace.

" Is this the necklace you were talking about?" I said holding it out. Lisa eyes widen and she nodded,

" Oh my death thanks so much" She said grabbing it. I shrugged and showed no emotion. She quickly put it and I realized how well the necklace was on her or maybe gold was a good color on her. Wait why am I thinking about this? This doesn't matter.

" I'm really sorry about that, my name is Lisa. Also thanks again." Lisa said with a slight smile. I could tell it was a fake smile. I couldn't help but actually smile to that, which surprised Tsubaki. She knows it's not easy to get me to smile, and I just meet this girl also. I quickly dropped the smile and went back too my unemotional look. Lisa smiled slightly, this time a real smile. ' hm this girl is strange, it looks like she doesn't have a minster.' I thought staring at her and for once during all of this I realized she was symmetrical.

" I already like this girl, she's symmetrical." I said out loud. Lisa stared at me, but ii could see the slight blush to her checks. Tsubaki laughed slightly and nodded.

" You'll like her a lot more once you get to know her" Tsubaki said with a smile. I nodded and realized we had only a few more minutes in till next class.

" Were going to be late." I said turning around. Tsubaki and Lisa followed me as I walked away. ' I guess Lisa has the same class as me and Tsubaki.' I thought walking towards my next class. Liz and Patty coming down another hallway joined up with up. I never realized they walked off.
