"W...What are we going to do?" Anna said with fear as she turned to the rest of the group for answers.

"Well we don't have many options now do we." Replied Bea in annoyance. Samantha looked around the room for more options but as she looked around all she saw was a poorly lit room with seven terrified people trying to think of escape roots. She looked at the door leading to up stairs and thought about escaping through the window.

"No, to easy to drop into a pile of zombies." she said to herself. She looked to the front door which had been barricaded to reinforce two large steel doors that were being pownded on by countless numbers of the undead. She looked to Alex (who was kindof designated the group leader) for suggestions but met a blank face glancing back and forth. There was seven people in the room and all of them where thinking about plans to get out of this place because they knew they could not stay there much longer. Alex looked around the room at all the different people. He looked to the three girls, Bea, Anna, and Samantha who was holding a baseball bat, then looked at the guys in the room, Oscar, David, and Dillon, then he thought about how he fits in in all of this ZOMBIE bull crap when Oscar interrupted his thoughts.

"OH I HAVE AN IDEA!" Oscar said with excitement.

"What if we took that table and set it in front of the door!" He explained while pointing at a table Alex and Bea were sitting on.

"And what would that do smart guy?" David asked sarcastically.

"Well we could open the door and use the table as a large shield, as we all push against the table we will plow through all the zombies!" explained Oscar.

"I agree but it's risky, what about the zombies that fall down, they will act as door stoppers to our table." Dillon said as he had been silent ever since the group got stuck in the room. He was thinking about how they got into the situation and not how to get out. He was grieving over all the good people they lost to get to this point and now there deaths may be in vain if they can't make it out of there.

"Let's try it" announced Dillon as he stood up and walked over to the table. Alex stood up and moved to one side of the table as Dillon moved to the other. They lifted the table and brought it to the door where they turned it on it's side and slid it into position.

"Ok keep the girls in the middle away from harm, Guys ready your weapons and don't fall behind, and Dillon on my mark open the door." Alex gave orders like a real commander in the field when under pressure but in normal circumstances he would not be able to command, because he is not really the leader type but right now,in this situation he was almost heroic. Dillon looked at Alex and noded gently as he was getting into position. They all got into position and were waiting for Alex's signal. Their hearts where racing but their minds were racing faster, thinking about all the possible things that could go wrong, and at this moment... A lot could go wrong...

"GO!" Alex yelled as all of our hearts stoped and time sped up so fast that what was minutes seemed like seconds. The door opened and the sound of the zombies growning and half hissing at us as we pushed the door was terifiing. The smell of rotting zombies was horible as the first few zombies slamed face first into the table.
