Strongarm sighed as she slowly drove out of the scrapyard, true she should be getting some rest after the day she's had but she couldn't get to sleep. Taking a turn through the woods, she came out to a small gorge. "Why did Steeljaw say that? Was it just to get in my helm? If so, I won't let it work," the young femme assured herself. Unknowingly to Strongarm, she was seen by two beings, Steeljaw and Metalsound who just so happened to be near the area.
Steeljaw watches Strongarm, "Strongarm," he whispers to himself. "I'm gonna go talk to her."
Metalsound grabs his arm as he starts getting up, "Wait! Are you sure this is a good time? I mean she's probably still upset with you and will arrest you instead of listening to you. Just wait until we end up in a fight with them and do as we planned."
Steeljaw growls as he snatches his arm away from her. "I'm not waiting, I want to talk to her," he says before getting up to go confront Strongarm, leaving behind a pouting Metalsound.
Strongarm felt like something was watching her as she turned around, her weapon drawn in front of her. "Come on out," she called into the darkness. Steeljaw stepped out into her sights. The femme's optics widened before she narrowed them again. "Servos where I can see them, Steeljaw," she kept her weapon aimed at him.
Steeljaw puts his servos up, "Whoa, whoa, I mean no harm."
Strongarm wasn't fully convinced by the Decepticon's statement. "After that stunt you pulled today, I'm not taking any chances," she replied, keeping her weapon locked on him.
"I understand, but all I want to do is talk."
Strongarm slowly got closer to the Wolf-Con, "How do I know that this isn't another trick?"
"If I meant you harm I would have attacked you already when you were unaware of my presence."
Strongarm growled quietly to herself, Steeljaw had a point. "You have 30 seconds," she replied, not taking her Decepticon Hunter off of him.
Steeljaw's tail flicked back and forth really fast, "Alright. Do you recall when I said 'I'm starting to like you, Cadet'?"
Strongarm blinked in surprise, she hadn't expected that. Why would he bring up a taunt? "What about it?"
"First, what did you think of it when I said it?"
"It was a taunt to throw me off guard."
"It wasn't a taunt, I actually meant it."
Strongarm nearly dropped her Decepticon Hunter, there was no way he actually meant it. Did he? Hearing the familiar rev of Bumblebee's engine caught her attention. "If you don't want to get caught I suggest you leave, now," the cadet warned as she transformed, driving off to meet up with the lieutenant.
Steeljaw watched Strongarm drive off until she was out of sight. He was wondering why she gave him a warning instead of calling Bumblebee over to help her apprehend him, or just apprehend him herself.
Getting out of her hiding spot, Metalsound walked over to Steeljaw. She stretched her arms over her helm before speaking, "She's odd, or maybe what you said just caught her off guard."
"She was caught off guard by what I said. I want to know why she let me go with a warning instead of trying to apprehend me."
Metalsound shrugged, "I don't know." The dark femme sighed as she looked at the sky, "I think we should get back, I'm sure Saberhorn and Glowstrike will be missing us."
"I highly doubt that, and I really don't care. I wonder if she's trying to give me a chance to prove myself." He starts walking through the forest toward the island.
"She could be," Metalsound replied as she followed after him. "Or she isn't sure of it herself." Metalsound stops as they reach the water's edge, "I think I'll stay out here instead of going on the ship tonight. All of those Mini-Cons working endlessly is starting to drive me nuts."
"Alright," Steeljaw says before he goes onto the ship.

Steeljaw is walking through the corridors of the ship heading to his room when he runs into Thunderhoof.
"Eyo, Steeljaw. Where have you been?"
"Just on patrol with Metalsound."
"Oh really?" Thunderhoof asks giving Steeljaw a suspicious look.
"Yes, nothing was out of the ordinary."
"So, meeting up and talking with the Autobot cadet was part of the patrol?"
"I don't know what you're talking about, Thunderhoof," Steeljaw replied coolly.
"I saw you there in the forest talking with her."
Steeljaw grabs his arm and shoves him into his room. "I'll only say this once, Thunderhoof. If you mention this to anyone it will be the last thing you ever do," he growled.
"No worries, my lip plates are sealed. I can even help you win her spark if you want."
"And why would you help me?"
"Just because I want to... And I thought maybe you would help me with something. I've been in a relationship with Glowstrike but I've been finding myself falling for Metalsound. I don't know if I should stay with Glowstrike or get with Metalsound."
"I didn't know you were in a relationship with Glowstrike. Do you like one more than the other?"
"Not exactly. I'm still into Glowstrike, but I really like Metalsound."
"I would say go for Metalsound, but that's your choice. Just don't tell Glowstrike or any of the others about what you saw."
"I won't. Do you really like Cadet Strongarm?"
"I believe so."
"You seem to. Well, have a good night, Steeljaw." Thunderhoof left the room and Steeljaw closed the door and laid down on his berth, soon finding himself thinking about Strongarm, wondering when he was going to see her again.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Steeljaw was walking by Metalsound when she suddenly woke up in a startle. "Are you alright, Metalsound?"
Metalsound tried to calm herself down, "Yeah, just had a nightmare," once she fully calmed down she looked at him. "What are you doing out here? The sun's not even up yet."
"Couldn't get much sleep, so I thought I would go for a walk."
"Still thinking of Strongarm?" She teased. She's still a bit jealous that he's so into her but she's beginning to settle with the fact that he's crushing on the cadet instead of her, especially since she's starting to really like Thunderhoof now.
"Yeah. I can't get her out of my processor, she's clogging up every inch of it. Every time I close my optics I see her face."
Metalsound huffed, "That's love for you, you always find yourself thinking of the one you like all the time. You see them in your sleep, you hope they will return your feelings. That they'll forgive you for the choices you made in the past."
Steeljaw looks up at the sky, "In that case, I guess I love her."
Metalsound could feel her spark breaking, even though she knew it still hurt to hear him admit it. "You have to be fully sure though. When you see her again it will be on the battlefield."
Steeljaw sighs, "Yeah I know... Why do we have to be on opposite sides?" Steeljaw asks as he closes his optics feeling a bit sparkbroken.
"Not sure," Metalsound yawned before drifting back to sleep. Steeljaw kept looking up at the sky, with a certain cadet on his processor.
