A New Love

Chapter 2

"Hey Tris" Uriah says allowing me to come in. "I, uh, have a question for you." I say a little embarrassed. He smiles and nods signaling me to continue.

"Well can I stay stay with you until I can get a new apartment?" I ask nervously. Wait why am I nervous? "Of course Trissy, but why?" Oh yeah I forgot to tell him that part. "Um I just caught Four cheating on me, so it's over." I tell him.

"I'm so sorry Tris. Are you alright?" He asks me seriously giving me a hug. "Yeah I'm fine. We were having problems anyway. It's just the fact that he cheated on me that hurts." I answer truthfully. "You can stay here as long as you want. But, what about your stuff?" " Oh yeah, I'll go get it now. I'll be back in a few." "Do you want any help?" "Sure, let's go."

As we were walking to Four's apartment I think back to the hug that Uriah gave me. When he touched me I felt tingly, like little sparks were igniting all over my body, something that never happened when me and Four hugged or even kissed. What's that supposed to mean?

Since I was so deep in thought I didn't realize we were here and crashed into a stopped Uriah, which caused me to fall right on my butt. Seeing that I had fallen he offers me a hand up. When I take it I feel the tingles again. Urrrgggg! What is happening to me?

I regain myself and mumble a quiet "sorry" embarrassed by the reaction I felt. We open the door to see Four and the mystery girl still making out on the couch. They break apart when they hear us enter and I finally get to see who mystery girl is. It's Marlene.
