Dear Sarah,
It's my birthday this month, in case you've forgotten.
Abby came over and surprise me. Well, not just her. The rest of my close friends and family did too. It was very sweet of them but I couldn't stop thinking of you. I couldn't stop thinking about how you deserve to be here.
I don't know, Sarah. I'm not sure how much longer I can stand you being away like that. I want you here by my side. No, I need you.
I know this sounds so cheesy and you'd probably hate to hear it but I feel so lost without you by my side. You've stuck by me for years. Always on my side.
I want you to know that I will always be on your side too.
I'm not even sure where this letter is headed to anymore. I don't even know what I'm talking about. I'm just rambling on at this point.
Maybe I should just stop.
There's no point trying.
But, I suppose, we're going to have to meet again at some point, right? And that thought is enough to keep me going.
Love,
Blake
