"Fuck you" I mumbled, covering up my face with the sleeve of my hoodie.
Kanato just kept laughing his ass off, holding one hand on his stomach and another around Teddy. His eyes were closed, and his mouth was open to an open-mouthed smile while he practically glowed with mischievousness.
I stared at his figure a bit longer, and, as if he noticed the silence in the room except his own laughing, he rolled over on his stomach and scowled.
"What are you staring at?" He asked, staring into my soul with his purple eyes.
"Nothing.. nothing at all." I mumbled quietly.
He gave a look at me and shrugged while whispering into Teddy's ear. As this was happening, mom called is downstairs.
"Come on and I get your lazy asses down he- I mean, come on my sweethearts! Sandwiches are ready!~" She cooed, as if she hadn't made a mistake just moments before.
Kanato shot up from the bed, holding Teddy's arm in one hand, and sprinted down the stairs.
"Woah, what the hell?! Wait for me!" I pranced down the stairs, following his figure. I reached for his shoulder as if to grab him, but then tripped, and toppled over him instead.
He held onto the railing, trying to regain his balance. He turned around slowly, adding a dramatic effect as he glared at me.
I gulped involuntarily and got off his back. He then continued to proceed.
We then walked normally down the stairs and sat at the table, eating the sandwiches. I just stared at my half-eaten sandwich, and excused myself from the table. I had a sinking feeling I was forgetting something...
"Mom, I need to go back to my job! Bye (y/n), Kanato!" Louis yelled, running out the door.
Job...?
JOB?!
I screamed.
"I MISSED MY SHIFT AT THE BAKERY!"
