Maya's POV:
I woke up to myself sleeping on Lucas' shoulder(pic above) I couldn't help but smile as I looked up at him. I tried to remove myself from him without waking him up but I failed miserably, I tripped over his legs causing him to bolt up.

"Mayaaaaaaa" his voice sounded very tired no doubt from comforting me all night.

"Lucas, do you think I can stay here for a while.. Just while this thing with Josh is still hurting?" I begged, I NEVER beg especially not to huckleberry Ranger Rick ha-hurr, ha-hurr.
"Maya, you don't even have to ask, we'll go and get your stuff when the sun actually comes up. I couldn't help but giggle realizing that I woke him up at 12:30pm
"Alright cowboy" I then laid back down and snuggled myself into his arms so we were facing each other. Then he looked me in my eyes with his gorgeous emerald- wait no, I can't think about him like that! They are just eyes! Before I knew it his eyes flickered down to my lips and then back up to my eyes. "Maya, I don't know how anyone could ever need a break from you, you're perfect" I couldn't help but blush deeply as he said that, I turned my gaze downward and he lifted my chin and then did the unexpected and kissed me, it wasn't a soft mellow kiss like Joshs', it was filled with passion and I couldn't help but kiss back. I could tell that my old feelings that I had for Lucas were gone. When we kissed I felt nothing. No sparks, just regret and guilt. I can't help but wish I was kissing Josh right now. I quickly pulled away.
"We can't do this, I can't do this to Josh, I still love him and I will wait forever until he is ready to come back to me. I'm so sorry Lucas.."
I quickly got up and gathered my things and walked out the door leaving a very confused Lucas.

Josh's POV:

I heard someone knock on the door, it must be that girl I met at the party last night, I think her name was missy. She probably left something here after we hooked up.

"Hey M, did you leave something from our little hookup?" When I finished asking the question I didn't hear and answer so I looked up to see a very shocked and teary eyed Maya.
Shit.
"Maya, I can ex-"
"No Josh, it's fine. You wanted a break. I'm just gonna go lock myself in my room and cry now if you'll excuse me"
I couldn't think of anything to say or do so I just let her run past me to her room. She then slammed and locked the door. I walked to my room and shut the door while sliding down. I buried my face in my knees.
What have I done?
Three hours later
I was on the couch sleeping when I heard a door open, my head shot up and I saw a puffy eyed Maya walk to the kitchen in her pajamas and slippers with messy hair and makeup smeared down her cheeks.
"Maya... Please talk to me."
"Josh, I'm not mad. I understand that you wanted a break but I can't live without you. I know this sounds really dumb and you probably don't even care but you are my soulmate. My soulmate josh. And I don't care if you had a heated night with whatever girl you thought I was, because I love you and only you. We all make mista-"
I couldn't stand it anymore so I cut her off with a kiss. She immediately wrapped her arms around my neck and kissed back but then she pulled away.
"Josh, I need to tell you something.."
"Maya, you can tell me anything. I'll be right here no matter what. I promise"

"Okay..... Ikissedlucaslastnightandhestayedtgenightatmyhouse..."
"Maya, say it slower" I couldn't help but laugh but I stopped when she had a very serious look on her beautiful face.
"Josh... I may have kissed Lucas and he stayed the night at my house last night but I told him that I couldn't do 'it' with him because I love you and I only love you."
My fists were clenched tightly because I actually trusted Lucas but ten he goes and tried to have sex with my girl. But I did worse. I actually slept with missy and Maya forgave me so I would be an awful boyfriend to not forgive and forget.
"Maya, baby. It's okay. I love you too"
She grinned widely and grabbed my face and as our lips met I couldn't help but melt in her embrace. Wow, the things this girl does to me. We pulled away but our foreheads were pressed together.
"I love you"
"And I love you"
We just laid there in each other's arms. And we soon drifted off to sleep happy to be back together.
