Song: Legendary Lovers by Katy Perry
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Shane stands on the beach, looking on at the island as the rest of us unload from the boats on the shore. It's morning and along with  Shane and I, Stefan, Damon, Jeremy, Bonnie, Rebekah, and Elena came with. Shane starts taking to himself.
"Congratulations. We made it."bThe others continue to unload, each with varying expressions of uncertainty and curiosity on their faces as they take in their new surroundings. Damon looks from me back down to the knife he's  sharpening. Shane approaches us.
"Couldn't they have hidden this cure in Hawaii?" I complained.
"Where the hell did you take us?" Damon asked ignoring me.
"Two hundred miles off the Nova Scotia mainland. If you recall, the whole point was to hide the cure on the world's most obscure, desolate island." Shane replied.
"Great were in bloody Canada where it's always cold." I sigh. The boys ignore me but not completely as Damon puts his hand on my knee, letting me know he feels the same.
"Oh yeah? I thought the whole point was that no one found Silas, the oldest, deadliest freak in the world." Damon muttered.
"Yeah, that too." Shane says holding up sunscreen and offers it to us.
"Sunscreen?"
"Is that a joke?"
"Please don't remind me that I can never tan again." I sigh sadly. Thankfully I had been turned right after a Mexico trip so I was tan.
"Right. Sorry." Shane says. I look around and see Stefan, who is tying a knot with some rope, while Rebekah is standing there glaring at Elena as she walks past. I decide to listen in on there conversation drowning out Damon and Shane bicker like the two-year-olds they are.
"You know, you're not really helping." Stefan tells Rebekah. She looks at him.
"You're perfectly capable of tying a knot."
"You giving Elena the evil eye, it's not really helping."
"She killed my brother, tried to get you to put a dagger in my back. She's lucky all she's getting is the evil eye." My cousin looks at Rebekah and glares at her.
"You know I can hear you, right?"
"You know I don't care, right?" Elena stops walking, and vamp speeds towards Rebekah, grabbing her neck and pointing the white oak stake at her chest. Rebekah flips her over and pushes her to the ground.
"Go ahead, try and kill me. But then you'd have to face your real problems. Like the fact that Stefan invited me here, himself. I guess he likes me again." Rebekah walks off, Stefan offers to help Elena up, but she ignores him and walks away looking irritated. Elena shoves the white oak stake into her bag and Damon and I join her.
"Looks like someone forgot her team-building exercises." I sing songed.
"I'm not apologizing for not wanting her here."
"You know Stefan just brought her here to make it seem like he's moving on. He wants you to think that he's over you, and he wants me to think that I can't get under his skin." Damon said wrapping his arm around my waist then kissing my head.
"You know, you're right. With any luck, I'll only have to tolerate her for a few more days, and then we'll find the cure and I'll never have to deal with her again." Elena continued to glare at Barbie Klaus.
"Human Rebekah...I can't imagine her without fangs." Damon said.
"How will she live without being able to compel couture clothing and accessories when ever?" I sigh.
