"Harry, gather everyone, I think it's time to tell what happened." Nellie said in a hushed tone. Remus was carrying a plate when he heard this and it slipped out of his hands. He thought he'd never see the day that she would agree on telling anyone the events that had her the way she was.
"You're going to tell us what happened between you and Sirius?" Harry asked excitedly. Her eyes said the yes he needed and he jumped up.
"You don't have to do this Nells, you know that right?" Remus asked as he took her hand. She looked up at him.
"Yes I do Remus, I owe everybody a way overdue explanation. They need to know what happened between me and Sirs." Nellie whispered as he sighed.
"We all miss him, just not like you do. He was like my brother, he was like Harry's Father, but to you? No. You were enemies yet you had that connection. You hated each other for it. You argued so much, but no-one could deny that you both loved each other." Remus whispered as he hugged her to his chest. She was the little sister he always wanted.
"That's why I must do it Remus, I fear that I'll never stop grieving if I keep it bottled up. We knew everything about each other. All the way down to the very second we were born, I slept in you guy's dorm because we refused to let the other of our sight." she mumbled as the bags under her eyes seemed to get heavier.
"Okay, I've got them." Harry shouted as Remus and Nellie stood up.
"Everyone, I think we should take our seats at the table. I've got a completely try story for all of you. It's about me and Sirius." Nellie said and a few almost gasped. It was the first time she had said his real or full name since he died. They all were curious because out of all of them, only Remus and her knew the story and Remus respected Nellie's wishes. They all went and took a seat at the table. Nellie took the seat that she always had claimed as hers and they all stared at her.
"I can't believe she's actually telling us. Nobody would tell us anything about her when we asked." Fred whispered as Nellie chuckled a little. This caught many of them by surprise.
"As you all know, I'm as mad as a hatter who can't get any madder, I hope you guys are ready for this story because I am recalling it straight from my memories. I refused to ever right it down because maybe if I did, somebody would take it. Now get comfy because this is going to take all night." Nellie said as everyone started making it so they could be comfortable.
"We're all ready Nells, you may begin." Remus whispered from across the table.
"Okay, I'm telling this story all the way up until Sirius died, I'm warning you, this is a very sad story in some parts, in others it is going to be highly amusing. I don't care how young you are, I won't leave out a single detail unless Molly or Remus or Arthur stop me." I stated as Molly nodded. She knew I would refrain from saying certain things if she needed me to. "Okay, the story begins on September 1st 1970..."
