Chapter 2

Irene's POV

I opened my eyes and saw two pair of beautiful blue orbs staring at me. Its him, Alpha Brandon. "Morning sweet cheeks" he said smiling showing me those pearly cute teeth. I finally went straight on sitting, after being here for a several years now, half of my life I grew here with him and his pack, and yet I'm still kinda shy to be around him. And I'm not even a shy type! For the love of Moon Goddess!

"Hi" i answered back shyly.

"You look so cute and peaceful while sleeping, but you know you should not sleep here. You have your own room." He said

And i blushed he called me cute!

"Anyways when do you think you can train the others?"

"Im not feeling to train the members now Alpha, and besides I have work." I said timidly. Im the best fighter in his pack. In spite of being girl I'm stronger and faster than the others. Im the most skillful in his pack too. My uncle pushes me to train to death. He made me to start to train when i was 7 years old. Imagine being a 7 year old girl you are forced to train. And when I'm 9 years old my Uncle already trusted me to kill other wolfs. I did everything that pleases him but most importantly I did it when I finally realize mom and dad aren't coming back to protect me and now that I'm 20 I'm better than any soldier Alpha Brandon has.

"I understand, nothing I cant do anyways. So yeah! I'm gonna go now to train the new recruits, here's my car keys" he said handing me his keys. And then he walked turning away from me to those new guys waiting for him in the open field.

I bore my eyes on Alpha Brandon's back and then when he stopped in front  of them he went taking his shirt off leaving me to see his shirtless and yummy body while he is starting to train the new recruits. He is so hands on in everything. And its so impressive. But lucky me! Alpha Brandon doesn't have a mate yet. And to be honest he is just so hot. Sometimes I can find myself drooling over him while he trains new recruits. With his dirty blonde hair, his eyes thats so beautiful in pair of Blue, his well built and oh so yummy body, with those muscles that i just want to feel and used to be wrap on my body, his abs thats I just wanted to lick!  Yeah I know checking a guy out us not so lady like. But even though I wanted to flirt with him, I just cant. Just thinking of his age makes me cringe. He has the same age as my dad. Its like I will be flirting with my own dad. But still he is hot.

Anyways, Being in this place for several years now made me so bored that I even went to apply and work downtown. Cause one day i just woke up and realize i want to find my mate and get away from war, thats why i stopped to train others too. And then I just started to act like I'm an ordinary person I tried to blend in. With job and anything else not like the rogue wolf who trained to death. Surprisingly Alpha Brandon let me do what I wanted. He reminds me of my dad so much.

I sighed and look down at the wrist watch i have " i have 40 more minutes" i said.
I finally standing up and started walking away while I'm still on my deep reminiscing thoughts.

Alpha Brandon is my Dad's best friend. And yes we are rogues. I sighed again, i miss my Parents. I remember the war started when i was 6 years old. My dad is so heartbroken and furious after finding my mom his mate one afternoon lifeless in the woods while having her afternoon walks. They said some pack members attacked her and brutally killed her,

It drove my dad insane. He started to be bloodthirsty and always sends our members to war every week against the pack members of Crescent Dark Moon pack. The loss of both sides were fatal. After all my dad is known to be the strongest rogue Alpha. Too bad he is not strong enough to kill the Alpha of the other pack. They killed mom and ever since then my dad has been so thirsty for revenge.

I hate that pack they took everything from me. After the night where my dad finally decided to take out the Crescent Dark Moon Alpha I never heard about him again or even saw him again. I think my dad finally went to follow my mom and i think they are both happy now leaving me alone with my uncle who happily took over my Dad's place as the leader of the rogues. Everything changed under my Uncle's leadership after that.

"Oh shoot! I'm going to be late!" I said. And I went finally running to Alpha Brandon's car and then the next thing I know I'm driving on high speed to my workplace.

Cal's POV

"Cal I'm just gonna go and buy a coffee, do you want some?" Alec asked me after he park our car outside a coffee shop. And I sensed my other pack member parking and stopping their cars too somewhere near us. Lifting up my face from what I am doing in my laptop. We are on a hunting mission here but Im still doing some papers for the hospital we are going to build in my territory.

"No i don't want any" i said returning my eyes and attention to what i am doing.
"Okay then just give me a minute I badly need some coffee after you drag the whole warrior members in our pack here for your little hunting, man i haven't even ate anything!" He complained

I just smirk. " i just want this to get over with, i want to see michelle again and to end those pitiful rogues" still not moving my eyes from what i am doing.

I just heard a chuckle as his response as he went out of the car and went straight ahead inside the cafe store. As the other guys follow him inside, maybe they got hungry too. I just shrugged and went back to what I am doing. After some time my eyes got tired of what I am keep on typing. And i just shut my eyes to rest them.

Where the heck is everyone!?

I opened my eyes to look for him through the wide window in the coffee shop. He is still on line. How can this be? Its already night and the store is still packed with customers? I frowned. Maybe this coffee shop is popular or whatever. Why cant Alec just go and buy somewhere else?  I mind linked my beta

"Hurry up there!" I said

" Chill! Just give us some minute okay? We really are starving"

I cut the conversation off.

As I'm about to retrieve my eyes something caught my eyes. I saw her, right there behind the counter smiling at the customers asking for their order.

Mate.
My wolf growled.

Whew! Didn't expect it that writing will be fun. It even excites me. I have so many ideas for this book! I wonder who did Cal saw there? 🤔 anyways guys please vote or leave some comments!
