"I would say my book is worth reading because it is a close resemblance to many of the things that happened in my life that I somehow had the courage to overcome. I have put countless hours into this story, writing and rewriting and re-rewriting Zoë's story because the best work takes time. For my fellow grammar Nazis, you have the sincerest promise that every chapter is vigorously edited so as to be as free of errors—grammar and otherwise—as possible. I know "Eternal" is listed under teen fiction, but I like to have fun with my characters, so you can expect to find comedy and romance into my story. If you would be so kind as to give my book a chance, I would be forever indebted."

My book tells of a young girl's journey to find not only herself but even love, which is something she has never really known. Although life may not deal everyone the same cards, life is about making the most of them rather than wishing for things you'll never have.

Prologue:

After transferring schools, it seems as if Zoë has outrun her demons, leaving them buried in her past. She's turned over a new leaf, joined a nerd clique, and even fallen in love. Life seems to be getting better...until she is forced to confront her past once again. Gradually, she begins to break away from the world around her, afraid of being hurt once again. After losing herself to depression, pain, and just plain fear, Zoë makes a choice that will change her and her life forever.

My opinion: She just writes beautifully. I am jealous of her writing skills! And the story is just great, I swear you need to read this :) -J
