"I think people should read my story because its got friendship and romance based round an action-adventure-esque plot line so its quite different from most other teen fic stories. I also think the characters are relatable even though their situation isn't really. I also really like feedback and comments because I would love to improve my writing.

Easthill High was a normal school until the local reservoir burst, flooding the town and trapping the students inside. As the water rises, the students and teachers fight for survival with dwindling supplies and limited room aboard a floating raft. See the points of view of Mila, Julian, Katie, Liv and Taylor aboard the vessel, as the buildings collapse around them. Will they sink or swim?
Prologue:
As 3pm draws closer my mind wanders to Katie, one of the greatest people I know who is sat in RE right now next to my other greatest friend Jules. They've got Taylor, an absolute legend, and the nicest teacher in our school. Uh what I would give to be in that class right now. Then suddenly someone screams and we all turn towards the classroom door. Water is trickling fast through from underneath it and Mr Lee looks out the window. "Oh God" he says "That's some hell of a flood." We all rush to the window and the water is at least ankle deep all around and rising. Then we hear the principal's voice over the intercoms "All Pupils report to the Quad immediately!" And Anthony runs to the door of the room. "STOP!" I yell "The water will be really deep out there and it'll all flood in here, you can't open that door!" Of course, Anthony doesn't believe me and yanks open the door, as gallons of water rush out of the corridor and into our class, landing at waist height but steadily rising. I swim and move as much of the debris as I can to help my classmates clamber out of the room. But the force of the water has knocked a beam and the whole ceiling is crumbling! It starts to crack as I help the last of my classmates out of the room and as I double check everyone is out - the roof falls.
My Opinion: Very intriguing prologue! There's a hint of excitement to it and she has only started writing this year (I think) so let's give her a boost! I really do think her story will be amazing as she keeps updating! -J
