He dragged me through the hallways and stopped at a door that said councilor. He opened it and lead me into an office that was very pretty. there was one black leather couch in the right corner and a leather recliner in the middle of the room in front of the recliner was a dark wood desk three walls were painted white and one wall was just a big window. the floor though was black as night altogether it was a mysteriously beautiful mix.

Somebody in front of me cleared their throat and I looked up from my awestruck daze. the man in front of me was in his mid thirties but he was still amazingly handsome with black hair peppered with gray, tan skin, blue gray eyes, and a tall lean build. I looked back at Carter but he was gone. I turned around and look at the man. His eyes were narrowed in concentration as he raked his eyes up and down my body. not in a creepy way but in the way a designer would evaluate their client. I was the first one to break the awkward silence.

"Ok I want answers and I want them now." He looked at me and chuckled.

"Just like your father. My name is Mr. Boerio but the kids secretly call me Justin."

"I'm d'artinielle. Ok so my mother has obviously chosen this school for a reason and I want to know that reason so spill." I crossed my arms stubbornly as he chuckled and pointed to the recliner. I sat down.

"Get comfortable." and I did. "Once there was an angel king named Cassius and this king was admired. By everyone. one day a human named Rosalinea (pronounced: rose-a-leen-E-a) stumbled into the angel kingdom. now, this human wasn't any regular human. no, this human was said to be so beautiful she was mistaken for Aphrodite the goddess of love. in the angel kingdom everyone had an assigned partner and so did the king but when he saw Rosalinea he instantly fell in love. they eloped and had a baby in the human world. when the baby turned 12 years old the council found the father and he had to returned to the palace once again. nobody knew what happened to the child. until now." I looked at him with a blank face then I said with a sneer,

"What the hell does that have to do with this?" he looked at me seriously then said the words that changed my life. for the better or worse, sitting here in my care home I still don't know.

"This is a school for monsters and we think your king Cassius' baby." I looked back and Carter was there again smirking. the bastard thinks I won't play along.

"Really? why do you think that?" I asked calmly.

Justin looked taken aback for a sec then went back to his calm collected self. "your aura is more powerful than any others I've ever seen and your absolutely gorgeous. practically a picture of an angel." I laughed at how serious he looked. he just looked at me, confusion written all over his face as he watched me cackle.

"Oh bro you really know how to act. you looked so serious!"

"Oh you think I'm playing I'm not d'artinielle. this is actually a monster school and you are the angel princess." I tried to find traces of humor but found none. I smirked.

"Prove it." I challenged. I knew he wouldn't. he looked up at carter and they both nodded. Justin looked at me serious before he breathed in deeply and in his place stood a black wolf. I looked at carter and he had changed too. both of his eyes were a vibrant red and his canines had elongated. I could tell because he was smirking at me. there was only one word that went through my mind as everything around me went black. bastard.
