Darkness. That's all I felt. My worst nightmare had come true. I continued to run blindly through the Black forest. What was I doing there if you may ask? I was hunting. Hunting for my one source of joy in my devastatingly sad life. I was hunting for my sister. And the bastardized who took her.
My name is Scarlet Stone. I'm fourteen years old. But I am not just your average teenage princess who puts on pink dresses and always want to make people happy. I'm not a people pleaser. You can't make everyone happy. Trust me I know.
Anyway back to topic. Where was I? Oh the part about causing the piece of scum who took my sister.
It all started this morning, when I decided to get out of bed because it was my sister Claire's birthday 🎊. Otherwise on normal days, I'd be sleeping in till at least 12 am. Yeah I'm not a morning person but today I wanted it to be one of the few days I get up early.
(By the way, I have twelve sisters but Claire's the only one who's fun.
My parents, King Helios and Queen Ariana Luna, decided to take us to the circus since it was her favourite place.
"At least try to be happy for your sister."Dad says.
"Who says I'm not happy?" I say.
"Well your looking as if you've been forced to drink your Aunt Beatrix's pickle and egg drink."
I shuddered as I thought of that horrible mixture.
" No dad I'm totally fine. In fact I am bursting with joy." I replied.
My dad didn't believe it, but he decided to leave the matter alone.
My mom however didn't say a single thing to me throughout the ride. Claire was literally glowing with happiness. "OMG!" She screamed in my ear.
"Could you quiet down!!" I exclaimed.
"I'm so sorry, but I just absolutely looove the Circus!
"At least one of us is happy" I muttered to myself.
"Cheer up and put a smile on your face every thing is going to be alright" Dad said.
I put a smile on my face and hoped that today was going to be a beautiful day.
Back then I thought it will be okay. How wrong I was. In fact things just went downhill from there...
