Your POV

The sound of the door being closed crept inside my ears, making it the only sound that was audible at that time.

Clearly, it was him, whose reaction was exactly the same as mine after we locked ourselves in each other's gaze. His messy raven black hair fell perfectly before his eyes, almost covering it but still visible enough to send me a look. A confused look.

Why did he even go to school?! He was supposed to rest! ㅡI thought as rapid heartbeat pumped along my ribs.

He wouldn't let his eyes off me, so I got flustered even more and just threw my face to the other side unconditionally. Oh God, what have I done?! I didn't mean to do that! And damn it, now I was facing the old librarian who put a baffled expression on me as well.

"Excuse me? What can I help you?" The old librarian asked impatiently which made me jump by her words. You know, my mind was still too chaotic after being trapped in his gaze.

"O-oh, I- I was sent here by Mr. Lee to do my detention. Here, this is the note from him..." I said while giving her the notes.

"Hmmm, okay. Just go and tidy up the books with that boy over there." She replied, or shooed me away to be exact.

"THE FUㅡ?!" The word was already at the tip of my tongue, and I almost spit it out after following her finger which was pointing towards him. Yes, that boy earlier between the bookshelves.

"A-ah, do I really have to do it with h-him?" I asked and she replied with a nod.

"C-can I do another job?" I asked again, trying to seduce her really bad, "Like... I'm fine with mopping the floor!"

The old librarian raised one of her eyebrow on me, at the same time she also leaned back and folded her arms across her chest. "Do you have any problem with that? I'm sure it's the easiest detention ever, but you still want another one?"

"No, it's not like that butㅡ"

"Then just go and help him! Or I'll tell Mr. Lee that you're not doing your work!" She cut my words before drowning into her book again, remained silent as if I was invisible in front of her.

Oh great... Just, great. First, my phone was taken away. Second, I had to do my detention which postponed me from visiting B.I. And lastly now, I gotta work with him. How unlucky was I today?!

Sadly I had no other choice. So I eventually brought my feet to walk after shoving my bag aside to the shelf, getting closer to him step by step. My heartbeat raced along with my breath as I repeatedly sucked the air before letting it out altogether. I wasn't ready to face him, but on the other hand I was also worried about his condition.

Anyway, here I was now. Starting to get really close to him as our distance was just about a meter far.

"Jungkook-ah." I said sheepishly while rubbing my neck, "Let me continue your work, you should rest now."

He didn't reply at first and I was about to talk again, but only to be stopped by him tilting his head towards me. "Wow, we're finally talking again after good damn weeks."

"Tsk, d-don't say something like that..." I eagerly snatched a book from him and tried to put it back. What a bad decision, I didn't realize if the book was supposed to be placed at the highest shelf! Of course, I couldn't reach it even if I jump. Duh, embarrassing myself instead.

"You look like an idiot, Yoora-yah." Jungkook smiled secretly and leaned closer until I felt his warm chest behind my back, surely I could also hear his heartbeat racing. He reached the book on my hand, before putting it back to its place. "By the way, why do you want to help me? Do you miss me?"
