The rest of the night was quiet as Taehyung aimlessly stared at the TV that was playing the latest episode of Game of Thrones while Jungkook sat beside him nervously playing with his tail. Taehyung kept unconsciously re-playing the phone call he had with Namjoon in his head while Jungkook kept thinking of reasons as to why Taehyung is actually ignoring him. That night the room wasn't filled with comfortable silence like it usually was, instead it was filled with upsettingly awkward silence. The wolf couldn't take the silence anymore but just as he was about to speak, Taehyung mumbled "I'm going to bed." and with that he got up and left the hybrid sat internally hating himself on the sofa alone. Jungkook wanted to sob, he wanted to stop the older but instead he forced a smile that oozed with his sadness and watched the door to their bedroom close. He choked down the tears that threatened to spill and he decided to sleep in the corner of the living room instead of sleeping with Taehyung that night.

Taehyung couldn't sleep at all, especially when he had seen his wolf's terrible attempt of hiding his true sadness etched in his mind. He glanced at his bedside clock to see that it was 2am in the morning. He huffed and tried to get to sleep but as soon as he closed his eyes he saw Jungkook's sad smile. Taehyung scrunched his fists up into balls as he became increasingly pissed off at himself for not comforting the hybrid. Then he noticed something peculiar 'Why hasn't Jungkook come to bed yet?' He wondered. His head was telling him to stay in bed and ignore the feeling in his heart, but the only problem was that his heart had a strong and longing feeling in it that managed to convince the older to check on Jungkook. With his heart winning the battle of curiosity, Taehyung headed to the bedroom door and lightly pulled it open.

Taehyung's heart broke at the sight before him. Jungkook was curled up into a tiny ball in the corner of the living room and he was shaking uncontrollably. Flashbacks of Jungkook in the cardboard box that Taehyung had passed on his way home from school ran through his mind. Taehyung felt like shit, he felt like breaking down but even worse than that, he felt guilty. He felt guilty for leaving Jungkook alone in the living room, he felt guilty for lying to Jungkook and most of all he felt guilty because now Jungkook felt like he wasn't loved or wanted when it was actually the complete opposite.

Taehyung rushed over to his wolf after observing his condition for a while and knelt down in front of him. His eyes were shut and his lips were parted as small whimpers continuously left his mouth. Tears began to well up in the older's eyes as he lightly pushed Jungkook's sweaty fringe out of his extremely pale face. "Jungkook." the older whispered softly nudging the hybrid's shoulder. The wolf's ears twitched ever so slightly but other than that the hybrid showed no signs of awakening. "Kookie, please...wake up, Kookie." The older sobbed as he cupped Jungkook's ice cold face in his warm hands. The wolf's eyes slowly flickered open and Taehyung could've drowned in the sadness that lingered in the younger's beautiful chocolate orbs. The older sunk to the floor even more and put his face in his hands. He slowly cradled himself back and forth, attmepting to calm himself down before falling even futher into his own madness. Jungkook tried to reach out to the older but he could barely move because of the shaking and coldness he felt.

"T-Tae..." the younger managed to whisper raspily while extending his left hand out to the older's face and cupping it lovingly. Taehyung froze the moment he felt Jungkook's weak hand on his puffy, tear-stained cheek. The older's breath hitched as he slowly started to lift his hand to meet the one Jungkook had planted on his cheek. He wanted to make sure that the younger's act of forgiveness was real and not just his mind playing a twisted trick on him. He tangled the tips of their fingers together on his cheek as his hand laid perfectly on top of the wolf's. "I'm sorry Kookie." He whispered weakly while his body trembled with disappointment in himself. However, all of that disappeared when Jungkook planted a chaste kiss on the older's cheek. He gave Taehyung a warm smile before embracing him tightly in order to absorb some of the older's warmth. After a while of cradling the younger, Taehyung whispered into the wolf's ear "Let's go to bed Kookie." and with that the hybrid nodded and allowed Taehyung to carry him bridal style to their bed.

Within minutes of them climbing into bed, the older wrapped his arms tightly around the younger's waist and buried his face into the crook of his neck. Jungkook smiled and brought his legs up to his chest so Taehyung could spoon the younger properly. With the feeling of Taehyung's breath on his neck and his arms around his waist, the wolf slowly drifted off to sleep. The morning dawned slowly as the birds began chirping and the crisp sunlight hit the blinds covering the bedroom windows.

Jungkook slowly opened his eyes and smiled when he realised that he had spent the majority of the night wrapped in Taehyung's tight embrace. It was then that the wolf realised that neither of them had moved an inch from each other and for some reason this caused Jungkook's cheeks to turn bright red. He turned to face Taehyung and took a moment to absorb his beautiful sleeping features before softly kissing the tip of the older's nose. He giggled lightly when Taehyung furrowed his eyebrows slightly and tightened his grip on Jungkook's waist. Jungkook looked at the clock and saw that it was Saturday, he mentally cheered in victory as he realised that he would have Taehyung all to himself for 2 days.
