It had been 6 years since Taehyung had found Jungkook in the box and his 18th birthday had passed by a month ago. Jungkook had turned 16 just 2 months before Taehyung. Jungkook was sat watching tv when a stressed Taehyung stormed through their front door. Jungkook whipped his head around to look at the older, his smile leaving his face when he saw the older's exhausted expression. "Tae, are you okay?" The younger asked in a upset tone. Taehyung realised and forced a smile at the overly-worried hybrid. "Mmhm." He nodded while walking over to Jungkook and ruffling his hair. Taehyung began to walk away but was stopped when Jungkook held his wrist. "What about my kiss TaeTae?" Jungkook said sadly while loosening his grip on Taehyung's wrist. Jungkook was so used to all of Taehyung's affection by now and he got upset quickly if the older didn't give him any. Taehyung turned around and gently pecked Jungkook's forhead before walking into their bedroom.

Jungkook decided to follow him in and comfort him. Taehyung collapsed onto the bed and buried his head into his pillow. It was killing Jungkook to his best friend acting like this. The hybrid laid beside Taehyung and stroked his back soothingly while giving the side of Taehyung's face kitten licks. All at once Taehyung's tears began to stain the pillow that suffocated his face. Jungkook stopped and observed Taehyung in shock and worry. "TaeTae...please...please don't cry." Jungkook said sadly while trying to raise the older's head from the pillow. He cupped the older's face and looked deeply into his eyes. "I'm okay Kookie." Taehyung said weakly while tears still spilled out of his beautiful eyes. Jungkook whimpered and mewled at the older's lies in protest but stopped when Taehyung cradled him just like he did when they first met.

There was always something about the way Taehyung's touch comforted Jungkook instantly that made him curious about the way he truly felt for the older. Jungkook wanted his touch to do the same to Taehyung. He began to cup Taehyung's face while the older continously hiccuped and silently sobbed while cradling the wolf. Taehyung's sobbing came to a halt as Jungkook inched his face closer to Taehyung's. Jungkook took a moment to take in every little detail on Taehyung's face, from his beautiful swollen eyes to his little freckle at the end of his nose. The wolf desperately wanted to find the courage to kiss the older but he just couldn't find it, no matter how hard he tried. Taehyung could see the younger battling internally with himself and sighed heavily. Both of them were too nervous to even make the first move as they sat their embracing each other as tightly as possible to make up for it. The couple got distracted by a sudden bleeping noise coming from Taehyung's back pocket. He pulled out his phone to see that someone was calling him. Taehyung furrowed his eyebrows slightly as he picked up the phone but relaxed when he heard his friend's deep voice on the other end of the line. "Oh hey, Joon." Taehyung said quietly while stroking Jungkook's ears.

"Hey Tae, can I speak to Jinnie?" The wolf who was stuggling to stay awake asked sleepily. Taehyung nodded and told Namjoon to put Jin on the phone. Before Taehyung passed the hybrid the phone he could hear Jin's purring on the end of the line. He chuckled while passing his phone to Jungkook. Jungkook started chatting with Jin immediately and nuzzled himself into Taehyung's chest so he was comfier. After half an hour Jungkook passed the phone back to Taehyung while telling him that a distressed Namjoon was on the other end. Taehyung rolled his eyes and began to ask Namjoon what was wrong.

"Taehyung, I need to give you some news." Taehyung rolled his eyes at Namjoon and asked why again in a disinterested tone. "I will but you can't be around Jungkook, I don't want him hearing this or asking you about it." Taehyung hummed in confusion and left the sleeping wolf wrapped in his blankets as he made his way into the living room. "Tell me then Joon." Taehyung sighed as Namjoon continued. "So hybrid's have this thing called heat... I'm guessing that you know what it is but I'll give you a brief description anyways. So basically it says on the internet that the hybrid's hormone levels sky rocket, it usually lasts a whole week and can be extremely painful for the hybrid if their heat isn't released or dealt with. It also says that it's a monthly cycle." Taehyung's jaw dropped wide open upon hearing Namjoon's news. "That's not even the best part Taehyung." Namjoon said deviously and Taehyung could practically see Namjoon smirking in his mind. "This heat usually starts when the hybrid's turn 15." Namjoon finished which caused Taehyung to get a sick feeling in his stomach. "B-but isn't Jin 17?" Taehyung questioned Namjoon and Namjoon hummed in response. Taehyung shivered in disgust as he got the hint that Namjoon had already been through this many times before. "Joon... I gotta go." Taehyung said quickly before hanging up the phone.

Taehyung hadn't realised but he had been pacing around his living room with a twisted feeling in his stomach ever since he hung up the phone. "TaeTae?" Jungkook mumbled from the bedroom doorway while sleepily rubbing at his eyes. Damn... why does he have to act so fucking cute and innocent... ugh get it together Kim Taehyung! Taehyung mentally cursed. "O-oh, hey Kookie." The older smiled at him gently. "What's wrong? Why are you acting so strange?" The wolf asked innocently with a worried look on his face. The older stopped pacing and turned to look at the hybrid before sitting on the sofa awkwardly. Jungkook took the initiative and sat beside him as Taehyung began to speak "I'm just trying to work out the best way to recover from exhaustion Kookie." Taehyung lied while Jungkook studied his face for the truth. "Tae..." the wolf started while looking at the floor sadly. 'Why are you lying to me?' Jungkook wondered disappointedly.

Yo guys😊 sooo basically I'm still not sure whether this is gonna be a short story or a long story yet but ummmm let me know which one you think it should be😄
