**Trigger warning sexual assault**

<LAUREN POV>

Lauren looked around the crowded field for anyone she even remotely wanted to talk to. She took a sip from her red cup only seeing a bunch of fake people and idiots she went to high school with. This was supposed to be the big party for her graduating class, Lauren was supposed to miss these people she had gone to school with, but she didn't. She wasn't very good at making friends. She blamed it on her personality. She thought everyone at her school was a bunch of dumb hicks and rednecks who contributed nothing good to society.

The only people she could even kind of call her friends were the several guys she had slept with during her time in high school, but she didn't care about any of them really. They were just a warm body at night when she was alone. She had a reputation at her school for getting around but she didn't care because she knew she wouldn't be seeing any of those idiots in college. Hell she didn't even think most of them could get into college. Lauren was just ready to be in Chicago so she could finally go to her dream school, Northwestern. She had gotten serval scholarships there and was easily the valedictorian of her class.

She took another sip from her cup and almost contemplated leaving the party, what was there for her to do anyways? No one liked her. Then a rough hand grabbed her arm.

"So Lauren, come here often?" The voice growled in her ear.

"Fuck off, Kyle." She hissed back at the tall blonde football player. He was muscular and easily the best looking guy in the school but Lauren hated his guts. He was so arrogant because he earned a scholarship to a junior college to play football, as if that was supposed to impress her.

"Oh come on Laur, we all know you're down for a good time," he said pressing his body closer to her, "what do you say we find some place more quiet?"

"Not in a million years." Lauren spat back as she yanked out of his grip.

"Oh what, so now the class whore doesn't want to get some?" He yelled violently as she walked away, "Whatever you slutty bitch, not like you haven't screwed half the school!"

The words didn't even phase Lauren as she walked towards the keg to refill her cup. This was her third one and she was slowly starting to feel the affects of the alcohol in her body.

She was approached again this time tapped on her shoulder and immediately turned to snap in anger, "I TOLD YOU IM NOT GONNA FUCK YOU KYLE!" She screamed before turning around and seeing it wasn't Kyle who had tapped her shoulder.

"Damn sorry," the handsome brown haired boy with glasses said, "didn't mean to make you mad."

"Shit Greg I'm sorry, Kyle just...never mind, what's up?" Lauren responded apologetically.

Greg was one of the several guys Lauren had slept with, but he was by far her favorite. He was always nice to her and was the most capable of engaging in conversation that didn't involve sports or swim suit models or muscle cars. She actually would consider him her best friend, as sad as that sounded because they definitely didn't make friendship bracelets together.

"I was just wondering if you wanted to get out of here," Greg said looking around the field of drunken teenagers, "this party is pretty lame and I really don't want to spend my last moments in this town around these idiots, I don't know about you."
