Chapter 2

*(Y/N)'s P.O.V*
I walked home from school. The forest was a perfect short cut. I usely walk home with no trouble at all but. "Well Well well. Look at this pretty flower." A man with a dark jacket approached me. "Umm?" I walked backwards but tripped over a large root. He held out a knife. "Please leave me alone." I said. "Give me your money." He said. "I don't have any." I said. I closed my eyes. "Leave her alone!" A familiar voice yelled. "What if I don't?" "Then we will have problems. Leave now!" The man brought the knife closer to my neck. "You made the wrong choice." He said kicking the knife out of the man's hand. He grabbed the man by the collar of his jacket. "You have the nerve to come out here and attack a girl. A girl you don't even know. Now tell me why." "Well my boss told me too." The man said. "Well tell your boss to stop hurting everyone and find a new hobby." He said. He then let the man go. The man ran away. "Thank you for saving me." I said. "I-It was nothing." The black and red hedgehog said. "What's your name?" I asked. "It's Shadow." He said walking. "Where are we going?" I asked following him. "I'm bringing you home." He said in a cold tone.

*Shadow's P.O.V *
"Where are we going?" The girl asked. "I'm bringing you home." I said in a cold tone. "What's your name?" I asked her. "Oh it's (Y/N)." She said. "(Y/N) what a beautiful name. Wait what. I should not be thinking that." I thought. "Why did you come back?" She asked. "It so happens that I don't have a place to stay." I said. "And?" "I wanted a suggestion." I said. "Well you could stay at my place. My mom and dad are on a trip. So you could stay in the guest room." She said. "I think I might take you up on that." I said.
*Time skip*
"Here's the guest room. It's not much. But your room is next to mine." She said. "It's small. But it will have to do." I said. "Good night." (Y/N) said. "Good night." I said heading to the guest room.
