(Blake POV)

Ugh, ever since I left with Anna yesterday, I've been feeling like shit. I thought that if I did it with Anna then I could for get about that nerd Kyle. "She is not a nerd, she is our mate" My wolf growled at me. My wolf and I have been arguing with each other since I made Kyle mad at me. He just wants me to run up to Kyle and never let her go, but I won't let that happen. I can't be with a human. They are too weak and defenceless, I'm not going to let anything happen to Kyle. Not like what almost happen with my mother.

It is lunch now and I am sitting with John and the crew which is mostly pack members. I had not notice that I kept sigh until John asked, "Dude, what is up with you man? Usually you'll be picking up girls but now you're all sighing and crap." I pondered for a moment if I should tell John about Kyle or not. "Yes, tell him so he can beat some sense in to thick skull." My wolf said. Sighing, I gave in to my wolf, not because I wanted my ass kicked, but I also wanted someone in take of the situation. "John, can I talk to you in private for a moment?" He was silent for a moment, probably because of my serious tone but he finally nodded his head. John stood up and walked out the lunch room with me behind him. We finally stopped at the outside tables where there were less students around and less pack members.

We sat down at a empty table. "Okay, I have to tell you something but promise me you won't tell anyone else?" John nodded his head and smiled. "Of course bro, I'm your soon to be beta so trust me a bit." John laughed.

"I found my mate John..." I didn't get to finish my sentence when John jumps up and comes over to my side and gives me one of those male hugs. "That's great dude, so who is the lucky lady?" He asked. I pushed him off and sat him back down. "I didn't get to finish my sentence. What I was saying is that I found my mate... and she is human." John looked at me with wide sympathetic eyes. He knew about my situation. "I am also rejecting her." I told him.

 "I know what happened with your mom but don't let that get in the way of your happiness. You need a mate and things can be different, it doesn't have to go the way it went with your mom."

John knew about what almost happened with my mother. My mother is human but she is also the Luna due to the fact that she is my fathers mate. When she was giving birth to me, she almost died cause her body was to weak to hold  a were baby. Humans aren't made to hold a supernatural being inside them. She survived me but when I was four, she had Stevie and that pregnancy went worst. After she had him, she was so weak that she fell into a coma for two weeks.

I don't want that happening to Kyle. I may seem like I don't care but I have already fallen so deeply in love with her. I want to protect her from a cruel fate that is to be if she is to be with me.

"Look, I know that you don't want the same thing that happened with you mom, happen to her but you need to let your mate decide that. By the way, who is your mate?"  John asked. I looked down for a moment while scratching my head. "Its Kyle Burns." I told him. John bursted out laughing, "Your mate is a dude?" Asked John. I guess I wasn't the only one that though Kyle was a boy at first. I chuckled and shook my head.

 "Naw, Kyle is a girl, I checked myself." I told him. John eyes widen but he was still smiling. "I thought you rejected her?" John teased. "I did, and I checked when I first met her, I thought she was a he but I was still confused cause the "he" was to cute to be a boy. I did the best thing I could do, check her chest." I smiled at the memory.

 Johns eyes widen and he puts on a goofy grin that I know so well. "Come on. lets go. I bet the rest of the pack is starting to notice that we are gone." We both stood up and headed back inside to the lunch room.
