Chapter Six
(Kyle POV)
After the lunch incident with Blake and a whole school day pissed off, I finally got home to my apartment with my aunt Lillian. You see, my parents died when I was 2 years old so I don't really remember them or how they died. All I know is that now aunt Lillian is taking care of me like i'm her own daughter and I am grateful towards her. She is the best, she has been with me through out ups and downs.
" Aunt Lillian, I'm home!" I shouted as I came through the door. I walked to the living room and dropped my bag on to the couch. "I'm in the kitchen!" Aunt Lillian yelled. I chuckled. She is so much like a grown child. It funny because some times, it feels like i'm the adult here and i'm the one taking care of her.
I walked to the kitchen to find that it is a mess along with aunt Lillian. I chuckled. "What happened in here?" I asked. Aunt Lillian looked at me with a sheepish grin and face covered with flour and icing, "I'm trying to bake a cake here."
I blinked then bursted out laughing. She was covered in flour and soaked with water. I looked at her and she looked like a kid. She looked at me with a confused face and that made laugh out more. She was so funny and she didn't even know it. "Look at your face!" I said out loud. Aunt Lillian scowled and hit me on my arm. She hits were like a child trying to hit you. Aunt Lillian is a beautyful woman with long brown hair that reaches her waist, a petite body but with all the right curves, dark brown eyes that you can read into like a book.
"Okay, enough laughing you, have you taken your medicine yet?" Aunt Lillian said with a serious face. Uh oh. I looked down and sighed. " Do I have too? I feel better and I have energy now." I pleaded her. You see, I was diagnosed with a blood disease called HP2Cells (Not really a disease, made up). It makes me weak and if I don't take my meds, I could throw up blood or worst, fall into a coma. That almost happened when I was little. I was feeling weak for about a week and my aunt could not find out why and after a while I threw up blood so she rushed me to the hospital. There the doctor told her that I had a rare blood disease that was attacking my body. It can be controlled but it won't be easy and its going to feel really bad sometimes. So after many years of having HP2Cells, it hsn't gotten any better.
"No, you have to take it, remember what happened last time?" I looked down ashamed, remembering what happened last time. I was in middle school and some kids noticed that I was taking my medicine and asked me why and also started to make fun of me for it so I stopped taking my medicine. I ended up fainting in class and was rushed to the hospital. I stayed there for about four days and ever since then my aunt has been looking closely at me. I learned my lesson and I haven't care for what people think of me ever since.
I grumbled under my breath and shuffled to my room. I walked over to my night stand and took a orange pill bottle and popped it open. I took one of the small green pills in my hand and stared at it. "So this little pill can help save my life huh?" I Though. I sighed, put the nasty bitter green pill in my mouth and washed it down with some water that was left in my room.
Feeling tired, I hopped on my bed and put head to rest. I closed my eyes and tried to relax but Blake's face popped into my mind. My eyes shot open and anger/butterfly's bubbled in my stomach. Ugh, how can one guy be so irritating? Not wanting Blake to ruin my day some more, I closed my eyes and fell asleep.
